I still come back to FM 2012 because of the great squad and run I've been having with Bristol City.

Early on I went for young, high potential, inexpensive players. I pulled some foreign players and used my Croatia feeder team to do some building to success beyond measure.

I joined Bristol City from Wrexham before the start of the 2015 season. That first year was top of the Championship. At this point used the money boost to get new training facilities, youth system, and stadium expansion to go along with the 'spending spree' that really was just grabbing a bunch of high potential youths and getting them going. I got 5 in particular that were foreign that needed time at my Croatia feeder to be eligible. This was a risk, but considering their low cost and possible high value, I felt it was worth it.

Kept the team up the first year in the Premier then everything started to click and won the FA in 2017. The next year started my amazing run. I got my awesome pickups from my Croatia feeder to get them playing, shed the deadweight & ones that didn't pan out, and pulled in a few choice spots which led to the amazing 2018-2021:

4 times running Premier Champion
4 times running Champion's Cup winner
4 times running Community Shield winner
4 times running Super Cup winner
4 times running Club World Champions
4 time League Cup winners between 2017-2021
4 time FA Cup winners between 2017-2021

I'm into 2022 leading the table and hopefully on my way to more success. My team's average age is 24 1/4 with none over 30. 4 of my 5 foreign Croatia-loaned players are starters and only one didn't work out. This squad is just stacked beautifully and has no weak spots or lacks. Managing the moods isn't too hard when there's constant winning and my board has been nice enough to give good budgets.

At the start of this 2021-2022 campaign I got my biggest FM wish fulfilled in that we built a new stadium and had it named after me.

I initially planned to only stay with Bristol City for a few years before bigger clubs came calling, but I can't imagine leaving this squad now. I'm hopeful for another 4 years of play with minimal squad movement.

I also took over for England during the 2018 World Cup campaign and somehow managed to win that as well... still amazed at that actually. Resigned as it was getting a big much but have been asked back to save the qualification and am going to take care of the 2022 World Cup but we'll see how that goes.

Anyways, Bristol City has been a revelation to how to build a squad and make it work. Went young, took some risks, and man did it ever pay off. I'm excited and constantly drawn back to FM 2012 and this squad.

For the details, I use a 4-2-2-2 attacking formation 98% of the time, I've spent only $288 million on 70 players in, and am 348-63-46 at Bristol.

I know this wasn't the usual picture and storied-out fare in here, but I want to get back to my squad! I hope you enjoyed the read and I hope FM 2015 brings some great features that makes me want to attempt the same success there.
