Rookie Andreas Olsen Takes Control of Strømsgodset IF

Shock as rookie manager Andreas Olsen has been handed the managerial role at Strømsgodset IF. With no former managerial experience and only being a former semi professional footballer in Norway, fans have a right to be upset. The board have said:

"Andreas may have no former experience but he brings something new to the table and thats what we need to finish high up the table."

Many are wondering if Olsen can keep hold of wonderkid Martin Ødegaard. It is rumoured that he is wanted by no less than 6 teams across Europe, if Strømsgodset can keep hold of hime for the coming years, they will be a force to be reckoned with in Norway and potentially Europe.

Manager Andreas Olsen will have a tough time keeping hold of some of his hottest prospects after a flurry of bids are made for a number of players including Martin Ødegaard,

Olsen said: "My prioty is keeping hold of my current players rather than buying new ones. We have some fantastic prospects here and it is my intention to keep them."

However Olsen did refuse to comment on a reported spat with 18 year old Iver Fossum after a bid from Real Sociedad was rejected.
