IN a month where practically all of our development side talents were shipped out across the country on short-term loans, at Elland Road we had an absolutely abysmal October and I cannot see us picking up form from here. We mustered up one flukey win against Aston Villa who sit in 19th place, but didn't manage to defeat Sunderland who were around about the same place. I can partly understand the other two losses and we did try extremely hard against Liverpool but I expected six points at least out of this month.

A truly shocking month has seen us slip four places down into 6th place at the end of the month, in contrast to our 2nd placed finish last month. And that hasn't even seen Tottenham take over us in the table, which is expected. Our goal difference has also taking a hit, with the number going from +6 to +3 in the space of this month. We are now six points away from the top, and we weren't really expecting to win the title, but with the way we started we'd like to keep closer to that area.

November

As we begin to enter the Christmas period of the season, November is one of the shortest months in the season in terms of games played. But in the three games we play, we play a top quality side in the form of José Mourinho's Chelsea side. Other fixtures include West Ham United and fellow promoted side Watford.

Leeds United: Board Members Arrested

IN an astounding raid on the offices of Elland Road, some extremely unanticipated names were voiced as seven members of the Leeds United board were arrested.

At approximately 8 o'clock last night, six police cars and vans turned up outside the 40,000 seater stadium according to a witness stood across the road near The Peacock pub opposite the ground.

The club has refused to comment on the situation but many witnesses apparently saw all board members shoved into police cars besides the Cellino family and Giampaolo Caboni.

Sources working within West Yorkshire Police have been cautious about releasing information, but told the public that the reasons for the arrests were 'financially connected'.

A close friend of Massimo Cellino - Terry George - a Yorkshire-based millionaire spoke to Cellino during the process of the arrests and tweeted this to his followers:

The part of the content of George's tweet caused excitement among the #LUFC tag on Twitter all the way through night, with the news of new investors arriving at the club. And since the club is now in the Premier League, surely they must be rich? That's the logic many fans are using.

But the investors are rumoured to be Italian and close friends with the Cellino family, who will buy out the 23% stake that GFH Capital hold.

The only board members that remain at Elland Road going into the Chelsea match on the 7th are Massimo Cellino, Edoardo Cellino, Ercole Cellino and Giampaolo Caboni. This means that Adam Pearson, Salem Patel, Calum Tomlinson, Francis Angus, Daniel Arty and chairman Ross Walker have been taken into police custody.

Italian Billionaires Arrive at Elland Road

LEEDS UNITED fans have something to look up to following their abysmal month of October, winning one game out of four and falling down into 6th place entering the month of November.

Following the arrests of the seven members of Leeds United's boardroom staff, including Adam Pearson who has been key to the Whites' rise to the Premier League recently, the Moretti family from Sardinia in Italy have bought the available 23% stake left of the club in the place of GFH Capital.

Despite campaigns for the vacant stake led by the supporters for a fan-owned percentage in which followers of the Elland Road side would be able to put their ideas across in the boardroom, Enzo Moretti - an Italian billionaire has bought out the remaining stake.

Moretti has had little to do with football, apart from his son, Marco playing for Cagliari's youth team back in Italy. In the late-1990's Moretti sold off an extremely successful building firm in Italy for an unknown fee, but has appeared to have made his fortune within that department.

Astaldi SpA was an Italian multinational construction company founded in 1926 in Rome by Moretti's father-in-law Sante and was passed down to Enzo on his 20th birthday in 1982 before it's sale to current chairman Vittoria Di Paola for a fee believed to be around €975,000,000.

Astaldi's current project - Napoli-Afragola Station.

Astaldi constructed Rome, Milan and Genoa's metro services as well as work on Copenhagen's metro, completed in 2002. It has also completed work in Romania, Turkey, Venezuela, Warsaw and Bulgaria. According to its website, Astaldi brands itself as a successful company with an annual revenue exceeding US$57 Billion.

This investment is sure to be welcomed by Leeds fans and the rejection of fan-ownership will be soon forgotten if Moretti's family build Leeds United's team.
Amazing story, really enjoyed reading all of that, congratulations on the promotion and now the amazing start to the season. Love the recent updates too, interesting!

Cheers mate! Brilliant to know some people enjoy this story :D
A very successful story! Last month there was perhaps what's successful, but surely the team will recover quickly! Good luck.

Mass Exodus at Leeds

THINGS at Elland Road are looking increasingly bleak as Massimo Cellino agreed the termination of 23 backroom staff at Leeds.

It was all beginning to look bright at Leeds with the arrival of Enzo Moretti's billionaire family in the boardroom, but now Cellino has typically ruined the momentum at the club.

The only non-playing staff working at Elland Road is now manager Uwe Rösler and his number two Graham Barrow. The club has now has no Head of Youth, coaches, physios, scouts or youth team coaches. This means the only Englishman in the entire non-playing staff is Graham Barrow.

The Whites nor Massimo Cellino have released any statement to the public regarding the reasons why the sackings took place but Yorkshire Evening Post's chief sports writer Phil Hay stated on Twitter that the events were 'internal issues'

Former Leeds star Eddie Gray - now commentates on all Whites games.

The sackings reached out to fans' favourites such as the head physiologist Harvey Sharman, and former Leeds players Neil Sullivan and Paul Robinson as well as Leeds legend Lucas Radebe - working as a coach at Thorp Arch.

Former Leeds star Eddie Gray wrote about the events in his column in the local newspaper, Yorkshire Evening Post: "I think the actions of Cellino are absolutely disgusting.

"The fact nobody within the club has issued a statement to the fans as to why these diabolical changes have taken place is truly detestable.

"We just had some good news as his friend, Moretti, had taken a role within the boardroom but now he spoils it with this news. It makes you wonder if something is happening behind the scenes, with the arrival of Moretti. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but it's still in sequence.

"I think the best thing for everyone is if Massimo leaves the club. He's caused too much havoc in the time he's been here and he's not healthy for the club. I wouldn't be surprised if Moretti would go with him if he left either."

Besides the Chelsea result - which I was already half-expecting before the game, it was a decent month for us. We climbed up one place into fifth after our shambolic display in October which was quite impressive considering the pummeling our goal difference received within that month. But we regained some goals with our combined 10 goals we scored this month - five coming against West Ham.

During this month we have managed to leapfrog Manchester City and jump into their previous 5th spot. We changed our goal difference from +3 up to +9 with our 5-0 win over West Ham and 3-0 win over Watford later in the month.

December

We enter not only a very congested Christmas period, but also a very tough Christmas period as we head into the final days of the year, very close to the transfer window - which I'm not looking forward to following the news of Moretti. We play Arsenal and Man City as our two toughest opponents, but Everton and Newcastle seem potent threats. Other fixtures include West Brom, Burnley and newly-promoted Wolves.
Good month! Too bad the first game, but good luck further, following one month more difficult.
bebero: Thanks for your comments mate! Great to see people supporting this story :D

Cellino Doubts Movement in Transfer Window

With the Moretti family landing in Leeds, you'd expect big moves in the transfer window - Massimo Cellino has now poured cold water on them expectations with his most recent statement.

The Leeds United chairman is usually the one to spice up the speculation in the media with big ambitions stated loud and proud in the press.

This time, though he is out of character as he denied any ambition to be shown in the Winter transfer window in January 2016.

Following the arrival of former Astaldi owners', the Moretti family from Italy, speculation has been rising about across the Whites' Twitter hashtag, with links to reports of a new 'target' being posted in quick succession.

Leeds have been linked with Lyon's Samuel Umtiti in recent times.

It initiated the press to ask the chairman - who still hasn't explained the exodus of 23 backroom staff - to see if any of the links with big name players such as Everton's Ross Barkley and Olympique Lyonnais' Samuel Umtiti.

The answer was short and simple. No.

This sent the confidence and expectation within the fanbase down following the statement declaring a certain lack of ambition.

It's been an up-and-down kind of month for us. We suffered the poor side of the entertainment in a 6-3 loss to Manchester City, but apart from that it's been quite a vacillating month. We won against the North Londoners in the form of Arsenal unexpectedly, sparked from a Joe Garner equaliser. A 4-0 win against Burnley ended the year of 2015 fittingly, especially considering our promotion happening this year.

In a month where we picked up 12 points out of a possible 21 points, I feel we did adequately. Our loss to Wolves annoyed me the most as fellow new-boys shouldn't be winning that margin against us. But once again we've moved places as Tottenham take our fifth spot, with a game in hand on us. Man City still sit behind us by one place and three points away.

January

I hope to add to the squad this month. To leak a rumour, I admit I am looking to offload Billy Sharp and eyeing up a move for West Brom's Saido Berahino - who played excellently against us. I hope we can sign at least one player before we play Southampton on the 16th. In terms of fixtures, the game against the Saints looks tough but Tottenham will no doubt be harder to beat, which isn't ideal considering the place they hold at the moment.
Good luck continued, and the results quite interesting especially the match against Arsenal, congratulations to match that, and be proud that you fought with your boys and Man City have scored it 3 times, have not yielded success can manage to transfer something. we take the best possible future.

UR: Uwe Rösler

Knock, knock, knock...

EM: Yes?! Who's there?

UR: Enzo, it's me, Uwe.

EM opens door.

EM: What tha fuck do you want?

UR: Look, I'm desperate to add to the team before Crystal Pal-

EM: What?! You know the rules with us?! No more money? Simple as. OKAY?

UR: No, seriously, it's the best for everyone. Two signings, that's all I'm asking.

EM: How do you propose?

UR: Look, new owners arrive in England, Massimo got off to a bad st-

MC: Hello, Uwe? What makes you come down here?

EM: He's wanting two signings. He knows the rules Massimo, tell him.

MC: Oh yes? Who are these players?

UR: Saido Berahino, from West Brom. He'd probably cost about £10million, taking his happiness and West Brom's league position into account.

EM and MC look at each other dissentiously.

MC: Carry on.

UR: My second proposition is Jonny Howson from Norwich.

EM: Norwich?! They're in facking Championship, we want top qua-

MC: Enzo, let him carry on.

UR: Howson, he used to play here, he grew up from the clubs' academy. The fans loved him as he was made captain here aged just 23 years old. I reckon we offer Norwich our Luke Murphy, who isn't getting any games, plus £4million from us and the fans have got their golden boy back.

EM: This is ridiculous, you can't allow this?!

MC: Think about it Enzo.

EM: Think about what?! This guy is mental, he knew the rules, he should follow.

MC: What I think Uwe here is trying to get across is that if we sign a sought after young British striker, as well as a fan favourite - it gives you a perfect run at what our aims are, as the fans will back you.

EM sighs.

EM: I suppose you're right, Massimo, but not you, Uwe. Get back to where you're meant to be.

UR walks off slowly.

MC: (whispering) Just let him have these couple, and no more, okay?

EM: Okay Massimo.

MC: May I go back to my office now?

EM: Of course.

Berahino Completes Leeds Deal

Leeds United have begun their playing recruitment by adding England international Saido Berahino to the club.

Rumours of the 22-year-old's move to West Yorkshire surfaced before Christmas as the player's agent, Kenny Leacock told the press Berahino was looking for a move away from The Hawthorns.

Many fans of the Whites dismissed the reports of a potential move to Elland Road almost immediately as Massimo Cellino removed any root of any rumours in a press conference earlier on in the month.

But the mad Italian definitely seems to have changed his mind on that initial statement, as he signs up West Brom's Saido Berahino for a fee which could rise up to £16,500,000 should the forward meet the targets written in the deal between the two clubs.

Leeds will pay an initial fee of £9,500,000 but could rise to it's highest value of £16.5m should Berahino make 50 league appearances, 20 international appearances and score 30 league goals.

The striker will possibly make his debut against Crystal Palace this Saturday, after comments made by his new boss Uwe Rösler.

Rösler wants more players at Leeds.

"I'm delighted to bring such a wonderful player to this great club. It's a real honour to be able to introduce a player of such quality to the club.

"I'd like to thank all of Saido's representatives for their professionalism in the process of the negotiations, as well as the clubs board members for allowing such a deal to take place.

"In terms of seeing new faces, we'll have to see. I can't deny there's a few players I'd like to sign up, but whether the funds are available is another thing.

"I can definitely see Saido starting the game against Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Saturday, he's match fit according to our physios so I don't see why I'd keep him waiting."

Berahino is now the biggest earner at Elland Road, earning a reported £50,000 per week at Elland Road, signing for an initial fee of £9.5m, potentially rising to £16.5m.

Leeds have been looking at bringing in former captain and icon Jonathan Howson back to the club, as well as look at the possibility of signing Dortmund's İlkay Gündoğan at the end of his contract.
