It was certainly a month of two halves for Toulouse, losing their first two games only to turn it around and win the last two games.
In their opening fixture of September, both teams fought out a very even contest but Toulouse failed to convert their chances, a problem which Stade de Reims did not have as they ran away with a 2-0 victory.
Next up, Toulouse travelled to faced rivals Girondins de Bordeaux in a physical affair, both sides were unable to find the back of the net as the game entered injury time until Henri Saivet managed to get onto the end of a cross from Milan Gajic to steal the three points and send their fans into raptures.
The struggling Olympique de Marseille travelled to Stadium Municipal and got away to a 2-0 lead but the day would belong to Cristian Pavon who announced his arrival scoring a hat-trick in a dominant display as Toulouse came away with a 4-2 victory.
In the final match of the month, Toulouse faced last placed SC Bastia with a goal in the 31st minute from Wissam Ben Yedder sealing the win.
Despite good performances from Gabriel Obertan and Cristian Pavon it was William Matheus who won the Player Of The Month once again after continuing on with his terrific form so far this season.
His best performance of the month came against Olympique de Marseille, providing two assists in a 4-2 victory as well as being considered the best player on the pitch in the 1-0 loss to rivals Girondins de Bordeaux.
So far this season, William Matheus has been able to make vital interceptions which has seen him making a tremendous impact for Toulouse.
Paris Saint-Germain remain at the top of the Ligue 1 with AS Saint-Etienne and Olympique Lyonnais in pursuit. Toulouse have maintained forth position and continued their impressive start to the season.
Olympique de Marseille and LOSC Lille continue to struggle with both managers beginning to have media pressure placed upon them despite only being eight games into the season.
Toulouse have been drawn to face rivals Montpellier HSC in their first fixture in the Coupe de la Ligue this season, fans would have been hoping for a match against a Ligue 2 side this early in the competition but will be happy to have the chance at defeating their rival.
At the start of October, Toulouse face two relegation candidates in GFC Ajaccio and Angers SCO before facing Olympique Lyonnais who will go into the match at Stade de Gerland as heavy favourites.
To end the month, Toulouse is set to face Montpellier HSC twice in four days with fans from both sides excited to face their rivals in such circumstances. Montpellier have been in poor form over the past month and will be looking to build their form back up through the rivalry.
