Toulouse put together a relatively poor month by recent standards, only winning one game from four during January. In their first fixture of the month, Toulouse defeated rivals Montpellier HSC in penalties in the Coupe de la Ligue Quarter Final.

Following that victory, Toulouse drew with relegation contenders Valenciennes FC before going down to Stade Rennais in the Coupe de la Ligue Semi Final. In their final match, Toulouse faced Stade Rennais once again with the Ligue 1 fixture ending in a 2-2 draw.

In a relatively short month, Wissam Ben Yedder has once again been awarded the Player Of The Month award, contributing with four goals and an assist in four matches. Despite putting together an impressive month, Ben Yedder put in a very poor performance in the Coupe de la Ligue semi-final, missing a number of chances as Toulouse went down 1-0 against Stade Rennais.

Toulouse have has their lead reduced but remain relatively comfortable at the top of the Ligue 1 table as a number of sides managed to gain points on the leaders. Outside of the minor changes at the top of the table, the Ligue 1 remains similar to last month.

At the bottom of the table, all three sides that were promoted from Ligue 2 last season remain in the relegation zone but could find themselves in an improved position if they manage to find form over the next few matches.

Toulouse is set to face Wolfsburg in the First Knockout Round of the UEFA Europa League, with Wolfsburg considered heavy favourites to win the match up. For the winner of the fixture, they may face the likes of Manchester City or Bayern Munich in the next round.

After defeating Toulouse, Stade Rennais is set to face Stade de Reims in the Coupe de la Ligue Final at the Stade de France on Saturday the 22nd of April.

After the completion of the tie against Wolfsburg, Toulouse play three straight matches in Ligue 1. First off they face ESTAC Troyes before a tough fixture against third placed AS Monaco. Finishing the month, Toulouse find themselves up against AS Saint-Etienne.
Some tough results but still in first!! Keep it up

Two draws isnt too bad man, still 9 points clear at the top! February could be a tricky month but this squad has the potential to go all the way now!

Toulouse faced a busy schedule during February, starting the month with a comfortable 3-1 victory over En Avant de Guingamp followed by an incredible 2-1 victory in the first leg against Wolfsburg in the UEFA Europa League with Wissam Ben Yedder scoring two goals in both games.

After drawing the Ligue 1 fixture against Angers SCO, Toulouse progressed in the UEFA Europa League after securing a 1-1 draw against Wolfsburg in the second leg of their matchup. To finish the month, Toulouse played three fixtures in the Ligue 1, defeating ESTAC Troyes 2-1, drawing 1-1 with fellow title contenders AS Monaco and losing 4-3 incredibly to AS Saint-Etienne after being ahead by three goals at half time.

Continuing an incredible run of form, Wissam Ben Yedder has won the Player Of The Month award for the third month in a row, scoring eight goals and providing an assist in seven matches.

Ben Yedder was crucial in Toulouse advancing in the UEFA Europa League, collecting a brace in the first leg in the fixture against Wolfsburg as well as collecting braces in the Ligue 1 fixtures against En Avant de Guingamp and AS Saint-Etienne.

It is clear that the fitness of Ben Yedder is vital for Toulouse if they are to go on to win the Ligue 1 and continue to perform well in the UEFA Europa League.

Toulouse have maintained their comfortable lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table while Paris Saint-Germain continue their struggles this season with Roberto Mancini facing major criticism for the performance of the club this season.

FC Nantes have made an incredible resurgence since the appointment of former French national team manager Didier Deschamps, sitting four points clear of the relegation zone they have been in since the start of the season.

At the bottom of the table, FC Metz and Valenciennes FC have found themselves as clear relegation contenders after a poor month from both sides.

After causing an upset over Wolfsburg, Toulouse have been drawn against Dynamo Kyiv with the first leg set to be held at NSC Olympiyskyi on the 2nd of March. Going into the fixture, Toulouse require a good result in the first match away from home in order to stand any chance of progressing.

Injury Report

Jeremie Boga

Jeremie Boga will be sidelined for two weeks after suffering an ankle injury during the Ligue 1 fixture against AS Monaco. Boga joined Toulouse on loan at the start of the season and has produced two goals and six assists so far this season.

Adrien Regattin

In the match against ESTAC Troyes, Adrien Regattin suffered a horrific broken leg which will see him out injured for five to six months. The injuries to Regattin and Boga will see Toulouse with no players available in the first team squad to play on either the right or left wing should Gabriel Obertan or Cristian Pavon become unavailable.

Beginning the month in the UEFA Europa League, Toulouse are set to face Dynamo Kyiv with a Ligue 1 fixture against OGC Nice in between the two legs.

To end the month, Toulouse meet two sides who have found form recently, firstly facing rivals Girondins de Bordeaux then a fixture against FC Nantes who have had an incredible turnaround in form since the arrival of former French national team manager Didier Deschamps.
Wow that Europa League match was crazy I bet you were on the edge of your seat. Also keep up the great form and what the hell happened to PSG?
