If they didn't give you a contract renewal they'd have needed their heads tested. ;)
More success heading Toulouse's way :P

Toulouse sealed the Ligue 1 title with a 2-1 victory in their first fixture of May against Stade Malherbe Caen. In the next fixture, Toulouse lost 1-0 to rivals Montpellier HSC with a goal in the 49th minute from Djamel Bakar proving the difference. To finish the season, Wissam Ben Yedder collected a brace in Toulouse’s 2-0 victory over Stade de Reims.

Pavle Ninkov has claimed the Player Of The Month award in the final month of the season, contributing with two assists in three games and performing impressively in defence by making some vital tackles and interceptions across the month.

The Serbian made 45 appearances during this season, contributing with 11 assists. The experience that the 32-year was able to provide was vital for Toulouse during their successful Ligue 1 campaign.

Causing a massive upset this season, Toulouse won the Ligue 1 title for the first time in the history of the club. Olympique Lyonnais and Stade Rennais managed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League while Montpellier HSC and OGC Nice sealed their place in the UEFA Europa League after both sides missed out on European football this season.

Despite Toulouse causing an upset to win the Ligue 1, the biggest surprise of the season was the poor performance from Paris Saint-Germain who finished sixth and failed to qualify for either European competition. After guiding Paris Saint-Germain in their worst performance since the 2009-10 season, Roberto Mancini was sacked and will be replaced by Stade Rennais manager Philippe Montanier.

At the bottom end of the table, ESTAC Troyes, Racing Club de Lens and Valenciennes FC will all be playing in Ligue 2 next season. Olympique Marseille return to Ligue 1 after their shocking relegation last season, where they will be joined by Dijon FCO and US Orleans.

Arribage Named Leading Ligue 1 Manager

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/2048x1536-fit_l-entraineur-du-tfc-dominique-arribage-lors-du-match-de-ligue-1-entre-toulouse-et-nice-le-23-mai_zpsdjlnk79p.jpg.html
The Toulouse fans have been vocal in support of Dominique Arribage during his tenure

• Toulouse ended the season with a 63% win ratio and in doing so claimed the Ligue 1 title
• Arribage is set to make his managerial debut in the UEFA Champions League this season
• The 46-year-old has recently re-signed with Toulouse to see him at the club until 2020

After an incredible season with Toulouse, Dominique Arribage has been named the Ligue 1 manager of the season. Toulouse finished the season with a 63% win ratio which was more than enough to see them claim the Ligue 1 title for the first time in the history of the club.

“It is an honour to win this award but it all comes back to the players, they are the ones who do everything they can in order to see our club succeed.” said Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage. “This season is only the beginning for us, when Montpellier caused an upset by winning the title in 2011-12 they finished ninth the following season. We will be doing our best to ensure the same thing doesn’t occur with us this season.” he added.

“I cannot express how much everyone involved with the club appreciates the efforts put in by Dominique since he took over as manager.” said Toulouse captain Abel Aguilar. “He is very passionate in everything that he does whether it be regarding the club, football or life in general and there is no doubt we would not have been able to achieve everything that we have without him.” he added.

Looking ahead to next season, Arribage is set to manage in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in his career while he looks to defend the Ligue 1 title. Arribage has only just recently re-signed with Toulouse with the contract set to see him at the club until 2020.
Would have been some serious suspicions of corruption had Dominique not taken home that award me thinks. Congrats mate. :)
