Boga And Iheanacho Set To Return
Dominique Arribage has ensured Jeremie Boga and Kelechi Iheanacho return this season

• Chelsea youngster Jeremie Boga contributed with three goals and six assists last season
• Kelechi Iheanacho has scored nine goals in two seasons while on loan with Toulouse
• Dominique Arribage is expected to enter the transfer market in preparation for this season

After both players contributed to a successful Ligue 1 campaign last season, Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage has secured Jeremie Boga and Kelechi Iheanacho return on loan to Toulouse ahead of the 2017/18 season.

After a successful spell at Stade Rennais in 2015/16, Jeremie Boga was loaned out to Toulouse from Chelsea and contributed well off the bench, covering for Cristian Pavon and Gabriel Obertan. Boga finished the season with three goals and six assists and will be hoping to build on his previous performances for Toulouse as the side looks to defend their Ligue 1 title.

Kelechi Iheanacho has been on loan at Toulouse for two seasons from Manchester City and is set to return for his third season at the club this season. Iheanacho has scored nine goals while with Toulouse, contributing with some vital goals off the bench during his time at the club. The 20-year-old will be looking to continue to perform as he attempts to find his way into the Manchester City squad.

“I am thrilled to see Jeremie and Kelechi return to Toulouse, it will certainly be a boost to the squad to see them back again this season.” said Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage. “They have both improved as footballers during their time with us and I expect them to continue to develop and hopefully make an even bigger impact than they have previously.” he added.

It is expected that Toulouse will make some movements in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their squad in preparation of their Ligue 1 title defence and UEFA Champions League campaign.

Niang Set For French Homecoming
French winger M’Baye Niang is set to return home to France to play for Toulouse

• The 22-year-old winger joins from Toulouse for €10.25 million
• During his time at A.C. Milan, Niang went on loan to four different clubs across Europe
• Adding versatility to the Toulouse squad, Niang can play as either a striker or on the wing

For the upcoming season, Toulouse have secured the transfer of French winger M’Baye Niang from A.C. Milan for €10.25 million. The contact signed by Niang is set to see him earn €31,500 per week until 2021. Niang adds versatility to the Toulouse squad with the 22-year-old capable of either playing up front as a striker or on the wing.

After being signed from Stade Malherbe Caen during the 2012/13 season, Niang would go on to only make 33 appearances during his time with A.C. Milan. Instead of playing for the Rossoneri, Niang enjoyed loan spells with Montpellier HSC, Genoa, Trabzonspor and Real Betis before moving to Toulouse.

“M’Baye first came on my radar during his loan spell with Montpellier HSC in the 2013/14 season and I was impressed.” said Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage. “Since then I have tracked his progress and when the opportunity to bring him to the club presented itself, I did everything I could to ensure it happened.” he added.

“The opportunity to return home and play in the UEFA Champions League was one that I just could not turn down.” said Niang. “I cannot wait to meet my new teammates and begin training, I am incredibly excited for the start of the season.” he added.

The arrival of M’Baye Niang does bring into question what role he will have at Toulouse and what effect his arrival will have on the other members within the Toulouse squad. At this stage, it is unsure as to whether Dominique Arribage is looking to make a formation change or at least have the opportunity available to him or whether players within the Toulouse squad may have their positions under threat.
Holy crap dude that is a great signing
Brilliant signing mate, and great to see that you've finally got some money injected into the club!
What a signing, Niang is a brilliant talent.
Hopefully Niang does a great job
