Toulouse claimed consecutive Ligue 1 victories to begin the month, defeating US Orleans and Olympique Marseille before eliminating FC Nantes from the French Cup and advancing to the final. Continuing his unbelievable form, Oscar Trejo has been named the Player of the Month for Toulouse for the third month in a row. In a team full of individuals who continue to perform to a very high standard, Trejo remains above them all this season.
After his incredible performances, Trejo is expected to win the Player of the Season award for Toulouse for the third year in a row with William Matheus expected to be his only competition for the award.
Paris Saint-Germain have claimed their seventh Ligue 1 title after defeating Dijon FCO in the final fixture of the month. This sees Toulouse unable to move up or down the Ligue 1 table with two fixtures remaining, sealing second place in the competition.
The remaining places in the European competitions will be decided in the final fixtures of the competition with Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique Marseille and AS Monaco all capable of finishing as high as third or as low as fifth.
US Orleans will be playing in Ligue 2 next season with FC Metz favourites to join them although En Avant de Guingamp still a mathematical possibility to go down instead.
