Nice to see your facilities being considered good enough to be used by a team in the Euros (albeit Slovenia :P ) Nice little update.

In a very poor month, Toulouse have only managed one point in four fixtures, seeing them fall down the Ligue 1 table. In the first game of December, a late goal from Cristian Pavon saw Toulouse pick up a point in their 1-1 draw with ESTAC Troyes.

Toulouse would lose their next three fixtures, losing by one goal to FC Lorient and FC Nantes until facing LOSC Lille in the last fixture of the month, losing 4-1 in the worst display from Toulouse so far this season.

In a poor month for Toulouse, Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro has been awarded the Player Of The Month award for December. The Ivorian has shown good form all season, proving to be a consistent performer.

At the start of the transfer window, both FC Porto and Sporting CP have shown interest in Akpa-Akpro. The Ivorian has made 105 appearances for Toulouse with the 23-year-old playing for the club his entire career.

Paris Saint-Germain maintain their lead at the top of Ligue 1 and currently have an incredible goal difference. Incredibly, in the positions below them we see twelve teams separated by only six points.

Olympique de Marseille have managed to work their way out of the relegation zone, their change of manager showing a change in fortunes for the club. SC Bastia have sacked Ghislain Printant after just one win in fifteen matches, the club will be looking to hire a new manager over the coming weeks.

Toulouse face Stade de Reims in their first fixture of the French Cup, if Toulouse defeat Stade de Reims in the French Cup, the next round will be played at the end of January. Toulouse would have been hoping for an easier fixture in the draw but will be aiming to progress despite the less than favourable draw.

Injury Report

Pavle Ninkov

Pavle Ninkov strained his back during training and is set to face around two weeks on the sidelines. Ninkov has yet to make an appearance for Toulouse so far this season but his injury will see Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro as the only right back in the squad.

Toulouse start the new year with two matches against Stade de Reims in the French Cup and Ligue 1. If Toulouse managed to progress in the French Cup, the next round will be played at the end of January.

Following that, Toulouse face league leaders Paris Saint-Germain in what will be a very tough match-up with the end of the month seeing Toulouse face the fifth placed AS Monaco and sixth placed En Avant de Guingamp with both matches set to be difficult fixtures.
you've dropped off the pace a bit recently, lucky you had such a good start. a few wins on the trot though will have you straight back up in the European places

Rajkovic Moves To Toulouse

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/sp-rajkovic-p_zps2q0jn8gg.jpg.html
Serbian goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic joins Toulouse from Maccabi Tel Aviv

• The Serbian international joins Toulouse for €3.4 million
• The 20-year-old is set to replace current Toulouse keeper Ali Ahamada
• Rajkovic will attend an intensive language course to learn French

Serbian goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic is set to move to Toulouse from Maccabi Tel Aviv after the two clubs agreed to a transfer fee of €3.4 million. The 20-year-old has played five times for Serbia, making his debut on the 7th of August 2013 against Colombia. Rajkovic has signed a contract with the French club which will see him earn €22,500 per week until 2020.

“It brings me great pleasure to bring Predrag to the club, he is a player who has great ability.” said Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage. “I believe he can help us in building a solid presence in defence and prove to be very successful while at Toulouse.” he added.

“I am looking forward to the challenge of playing in France.” said Rajkovic. “I want to start training as soon as possible and I hope to begin my new career with Toulouse in a positive way.” he added.

It is expected that Rajkovic will immediately replace current Toulouse goalkeeper Ali Ahamada who has received criticism after conceding 30 goals in 19 games.
Great signing, he is young and will only grow into a better player so things can only look good for him :)
1
Great signing mate, hopefully you can develop him well without offers from other clubs!

Toulouse Secure Iheanacho On Loan

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/PAY-Manchester-City-v-Hull_zpsusgdsw8l.jpg.html
Kelechi Iheanacho is a player believed to have tremendous potential

• The 19-year-old joins Toulouse on a six-month loan deal from Manchester City
• Manchester City are looking for Iheanacho to increase his playing time
• The striker is yet to score a professional goal in his career

After making his debut for Manchester City against Stoke earlier in the season, Kelechi Iheanacho is set to join Toulouse on loan for the rest of the season.

“Kelechi requires more time on the pitch in order for him to continue to develop as a footballer.” said Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini. “I hope Toulouse is able to provide him with the experience he needs.” he added.

Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder is in good form this season, scoring 10 goals in 19 appearances but it is believed that Iheanacho will replace Aleksander Pesic who has yet to score this season in 7 appearances.

“I am looking forward to joining Toulouse on loan, I hope my experience at the club is great.” said Iheanacho. “I will be looking to work closely with Wissam and hopefully pick up a few things during my time with the club.” he added.
Although I'm not a big fan of loan deals, I believe Iheanacho will add some much needed pace up top for your lot :D
