Toulouse ended the season in incredible form, claiming three wins for three matches. A stellar performance from Gabriel Obertan in which he provided two assists saw Toulouse claim a 3-1 victory over AS Saint-Etienne.
Next, Toulouse defeated ESTAC Troyes 3-0 with Oscar Trejo collecting a brace. In their final Ligue 1 match of the season, Toulouse put Angers SCO to the sword coming away with a 3-0 victory in a dominant display.
Despite impressive performances from Gabriel Obertan and Toulouse captain Abel Aguilar, Serbian defender Pavle Ninkov has won the Player Of The Month award for May.
Ninkov found himself out of the first team squad the first half of the season behind Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro who was one of the form players for Toulouse. In the January transfer window, Benfica signed Akpa-Akpro and Ninkov found himself in the starting side, a position he has refused to let go since.
Playing in 16 games this season, Ninkov has provided six assists and his added experience in a relatively young side should not be undervalued in the return to form shown by Toulouse at the end of the season.

OGC Nice missed out on European football after FC Lorient and Toulouse managed to win their final matches to seal their places in the top six.
A number of teams have sacked their managers at the end of the season, Olympique Lyonnais will be searching for a new manager after Hubert Fournier failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
AS Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim was let go after not securing a place in the UEFA Europa League, it is believed that AS Monaco are looking to bring in Real Madrid icon Fernando Hierro to take charge of the club.
At the bottom end of the table, Olympique Marseille find themselves relegated in an incredible shock. Rene Girard has been let go as manager of the club with Olympique Marseille set to face a number of players looking to leave the club.
