It's the first time I've ever done anything like this before folks so bare with me for the time being and any tips on how to improve my stories are more than welcome.

Tottenham Hotspur hierarchy have decided it's time for a change of manager and after long discussions they've decided to hire The Professor to take them onto the next level.

Good luck with Spurs mate! Have a good squad and real potential! Using some graphics might help your story mate, makes it slightly easier to follow :)

I've revamped the story guys because i felt i rushed into the first one trying to work out what is my best attributes of telling an FM Story but it is the same save so hope people keep following and enjoy my career story writing mode with Spurs. I'm having trouble copying pics from laptop to post on here but I'll try and get round that to still make the stories as exciting as possible. Thanks for the feedback already and these stories will get better with experience..

1st July 2015
My first day of office
As i first walked into White Hart Lane on my first day of discussions with the Spurs board i outlined what i wanted to happen to this football club and Daniel Levy (The owner/Chairman) and the board of directors listened on with intriguement. I only could've dreamed that he would give me the call to tell me i got the job but it came true i was named Tottenham Hotspur's new manager.

I couldn't wait to introduced myself to the players and staff and also inform them of their responsibilities and reassuring that everyone's job is safe because i think continuity of backroom staff is important to help me settle in. That also relaxed everyone at the club including the players..

Yes hopefully they can play in the system that i want them to play in and I'll try my best in telling the story the best way i possibly can... Thanks for following
Pre season
My pre season schedule was already organised before i got the job which i didn't mind because everything that had happened before i arrived was past so what i did was pass the friendly matches to my assistant Jesus Perez and i looked on as i scanned the players at close quarters, the results were as follows

1. Leeds (A) Won 2-1
2. Udinese (A) Won 1-0
3. AC Milan (A) Lost 3-1
4. Ancona (A) Won 2-1
5. Spezia (A) Won 1-0
6. VVV (A) Won 5-1

I then evaluated the squad and thought i'll not sign anyone for the time being and give everyone a chance to show me what they can do which pleased everyone in the camp.
Good pre-season but I recommend getting a striker, granted its up to you and I know from experience Njie can do a job up top, as can Son if needed. It would be nice to rest Kane.

Either way, loving the story, COYS

It was a pity about the AC Milan result but friendlies are just for players to get match sharp for the season ahead so I'm not too fussed about the final score,

I did look at the attacking options but decided to stick, like you say i can always juggle about the forward line because theirs attacking midfield players that can also do a shift as striker in-case Kane needs either a rest or gets injured. Thank you for the recommendation though and just hope that it doesn't bite me in the backside when the transfer window shuts... You never know i may change my mind before 1st Sept.

Thanks again
All in all a very positive pre-season!

09/08. Southampton (A) (TV) Won 2-1 Eriksen (7), Kane (63): Pelle (78) A solid start to my Spurs career live in front of the TV cameras. I couldn't have asked for a better start to my managerial career than at St Mary's Stadium when Cristian Eriksen's got his first goal in the first 7 minutes of the season. I felt comfortable all game with my team and tactics and when Kane put us 2-0 up the team were in cruise control and that's when we took the foot off the gas to let Pelle in with a consolation and us having to hold out for the last 15 mins but held out we did and a 3 points well deserved..
Never think a match is over until it's over

15/08. Man City (H) (TV) Won 1-0 Son (89) My first real test against title chasing candidates and it was another game in front of the TV cameras and being honest i would've settled for a point in this one even though we were the home team but Man City's squad has got bags of talent all the way through so i decided to hold back and try and pinch one on the break and i was delighted that Son managed to nick the winner in the last minute despite Danny Rose's injury 5 minutes beforehand which put him out for a few games at least. It goes to show that sometimes patience is the key in this game.

22/08. Everton (A) Lost 0-2 Lennon (26), Miralles (85) My team went back down to earth with a bump in a tricky away match at Goodison Park. I was quietly confident going into this one on the back of victories against tough opposition I just thought the team was over-confident in themselves which was their downfall and when Lennon got the first goal i just knew that the lads event up for it and unfortunately for us Miralles nicked a 2nd in the last 5 mins. I hope to put this game out of my mind and bounce back as soon as possible.

29/08. Aston Villa (H) Won 4-0 Lamela (41,65), Kane (48), Chadli (89) My team responded in style with a resounding victory over a poor Villa side. It did take us until the 40th minute to break the deadlock but then after that we were cruising with no real threat posed from Villa and i was happy with a easy victory.

AUGUST REVIEW

We started the season very well with only Everton being the slip up, We were in control in the Southampton match i could tell we were never going to lose this one right from kick off, The Man City game was a defensive masterclass with 23 shots fired against us to our 7 and we managed to get the clean sheet against quality attackers and nick the winner at the last minute which pleased everyone in the squad.

Then came the Everton game where i thought straightaway we weren't going to win cos we just played so slack and nowhere near what we're capable of doing and as soon as Lennon scored the first i made tactical changes which didn't solve anything at all just a bad day all round.

To round off the month a simple game against Villa where we were always on top right from the off and never looked like conceding either, I just wish that more of the games in this league were this simple.,

13th. West Ham (A) PL
17th. Fenerbache (A) EL
20th. Newcastle (A) PL
23rd. Blackburn (A) COC3
26th. Chelsea (H) PL

September is the start of my first ever venture into Europe and it doesn't get any tougher in front of an intimidating Fenerbahce crowd so i will be hoping to just steal a point in that one anything else is a bonus. 2 London derbies against West Ham and Chelsea upcoming and I'm hoping my players will be up for it and it's my job to make sure that they get all the knowledge on the opposition they need and then it's up to them when they step over that white line to produce the goods for me.. The Newcastle away game I'm thinking we can win them with the quality we've got in the team and against Championship Blackburn i just think we'll be too strong for them but i haven't made up my mind yet whether to field a weakened team in Capital One Cup or just go out to win the trophy but keep tuned in and we'll see what happens
Good start to the season! Great result against City to get a winner last minute and unlucky loss to Everton. I reckon you can go unbeaten next month! Good luck
It's been a solid start to the season. The Man City game i was tempted to push men forward at 0-0 but decided to stick with counter attack and it paid off in the end.

I couldn't believe the Everton game with the same team that won against City as well they just didn't turn up, i guess it was just one of them things.

Thanks for reading
Good first month especially the win over City
