I'm at a press conference now (in FM, not in real life lol) and it shows the details of the journalist. Its got "Media Source", "Journalist", "Personality" & "Relationship".
For example at an Ivory Coast conference one journalist is "old and not to be trusted". Does the personality have any affect on the questions or the way your answer is portrayed as negative or positive in the media?
Personally, I never pay any attention to the journalist's personality, I replay mechanically so as to keep my team happy, since I find it boring, but it helps the team's morale, that's why you attend it personally and not sending the assistant.
I think that if you press the storm out button, then the press may be against you, but I have the referees... I do not want and the media after me too... lol
Yeah they get boring after you have done them a few times because it gets repetitive. Now I don't even read the question and can just recognise the positibve answers. This is what too much FM does to you
im not a fan of press conferences and media. but you cant send your assistant to do the PC, he will most probably fuck it up.
i think the only time you need to worry about what type of journalist is your answering to is when you reply with an extremely positive or negative answer.
also you might notice how at times the headlines of your PC are slightly different even though the same question and same answer sort of.
but doesnt have a big affect though.

Yeh I agree the assistant messes everything up. In one of my game's I was united and he was asked who do you think will win the title. His reply is "Man City". There goes the team morale
