Loan Glitch

So I've managing Manchester City and I have been trying to develop my youth. So I loaned at Michael Johnson to FC Bayern and he went for half a season (Jan-May). However, there is an error because he hasn't come back (I'm playing the following season), his value has dropped to NA. It doesn't even say on loan from Man City anymore on his screen. Oddly enough he still appears in my squad list (greyed out) and I can offer him contracts. Has anyone ever encountered this issue before? Can someone please help? I have loaned out other players and that did not happen but it did happen to one other player.

Never happened to me, but doesn't sound too bad, just offer him a new contract? Maybe you can even give him a wage cut

sounds like his youth contract expired and you didn't offer him a pro-contract.

I did offer him a new contract and it was pro one. Johnson accepted it but he still hasn't returned from the loan. Thanks for responding by the way.

Did you check if Bayern wanted him to extend his loan deal?

No they did not and I just sent another player on loan to CSKA Moscow and it looks the same thing happened to him. His value dropped to NA and it doesn't say he is on loan anymore. I also looked in the contract section and it only shows one contract.

I had the same thing happen when I loaned Petr Cech to Man City. Just never came back, value was n/a. Definitely a bug. Waiting for his contract to expire and hope that resolves it.

I read your post about loaned players and the same thing happened to me.
I had 5 or 6 loadned players in those conditions: greyed on my team without the loan from Sporting Lisbon on it, NA on the contract details, the whole stuff you mentioned.
First, this happened with USA players and English players I loaned to English Minor Teams and Scotland. These cases I resolved with FMRTE ending these players' contract and releasing them on a free and offering them another contract but this is a bug and therefore, we cannot keep doing this kind of stuff to buy our own players.
After this, I installed Patch 2 and then 3 one after the other as I've been playing Patch 1 ever since FM2010 came out. In the middle of so many bugs solved by this 2 patches, I thought this one would be contemplated but NO.
The issue is still here and I have no clue how to solve it.

Have you solved it yet or know how to do it?
