Good luck mate, enjoyed your previous stories, hoping this can be something special too!

Everton Sack Koeman

Everton have sacked manager Ronald Koeman after Sunday's 5-2 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League.

A statement released by the club today said "we would like to express our gratitude to Ronald for the service he has given to the club over the past 16 months".

Pressure has been building on the Dutchman after a poor start to the Premier League campaign which sees the Toffees lying in a dismal 18th place after 9 matches, collecting just 8 points & 2 wins.

After a summer spending spree of £140m, Koeman's side have failed to live up to expectations & what began as another promising season of investment & progression has seen a dramatic shift in perspective.

Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman spoke on BBC Radio 5 Live shortly after the news broke, saying ''We're in a place now where we need to aim higher & go for one of those big names. Someone who has a proven track record of winning trophies. Unfortunately, I don't think many of those guys are available right now.''

Carlo Ancelotti is one of several names linked with the hot seat at Goodison Park, out of work since his dismissal at Bayern Munich in late September. As well as former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel - who parted ways with the Ruhr club after winning the DFB Pokal in May. It is expected that reserve team manager David Unsworth will take charge of first team affairs until a permanent successor is hired.

Koeman's assistant and brother Erwin will also leave the club along with fitness coach Jan Kluitenberg and goalkeeping coach Patrick Lodewijks.
Good luck mate:)

Everton Announce Duncan Ferguson as Interim Manager

Former Everton striker Duncan Ferguson has been announced as Interim first team manager until the end of the 2017/18 season.

In a surprising turn of events, Everton have announced that first team coach Duncan Ferguson will take the role of interim first team manager until the end of the 2017/18 season.

It was thought that David Unsworth would take the role, however the former Everton, Wigan & Sheffield United defender will continue in his role as Everton under-23s manager.

The former Blues number 9, affectionately known as 'Big Dunc' on the Goodison Park terraces has expressed his pride to be given the opportunity to take charge for the remainder of the campaign.

''It's an immensely proud day for me, to be given the opportunity to manage this great club by Bill (Kenwright) and Farhad (Moshiri) is incredibly flattering.''

The 45 year old Scotsman will be hoping he can spark a turnaround in the Toffees fortunes, with the club languishing in 18th after a poor start to the league campaign despite extensive summer investment.

Club chairman Bill Kenwright gave this statement following the appointment of Ferguson:

''Duncan knows Everton inside out and will really be able to harness the spirit of the club. He also has a well established rapport with the fans, something that's been missing in recent weeks.

The new interim boss will certainly face a baptism of fire on Wednesday as he takes charge of Everton's Wednesday night Merseyside derby clash with Liverpool at Goodison Park in the Carabao Cup.
