Lyon - Ligue 1 - FM19 Beta Save

This story isn't meant to be incredibly long (I expect 2 seasons) before the full release of FM19. I have never managed in France before and Lyon looked like a squad that balanced having a talented squad, but not being one of the current juggernauts of Ligue 1 at the moment (PSG and Monaco).

With Champions League football on the menu, and plenty of suitors for our star players (particularly Nabil Fekir) it will be a year of balancing all sides of the club to try and achieve success.

Episode 2 - Champions League Draw

Champions League draw and an important early season fixture at Nice as we try to keep our good start in the League going.

Episode 3 - First Real Test for Lyon

Big CL matchup in the group stage against Juventus, and then biggest Ligue 1 match of the year to this point against title favourites PSG!

Episode 4 - A Wondergoal!

Still in the early stages of the Ligue 1 season and the CL group stage winding down, we see an important match against Monaco and a fantastic wondergoal in the CL.

Episode 5 - The Rematch

Our return fixture against PSG in Ligue 1 is vital as we still are enjoying the spoils of an incredibly hot start to the first half of the season. With our CL hopes still alive and a potential domestic cup run as well, when do we seriously start to consider a Treble as a possibility in our inaugural season?

Episode 6 - Crucial Double-Header

Double-header as we play the first leg of our CL knockout match-up against Porto, and then another key match against Monaco as the Ligue 1 battle continues.

Episode 7 - On a Roll

We're doing shockingly well, and I'm honestly struggling to deal with all the success. I'm awaiting the inevitable return to earth!

Episode 8 - Can We Be Stopped?

The league is close to being wrapped up (assuming we don't bottle it), and now set our sights on Bayern Munich and the Champions League quarter-finals as we look to push onto the semi-finals in this phenomenal debut season of FM19!

Episode 9 - The End Is Near

The league is pretty well wrapped up, but we take on Manchester United in the CL semi-final! Can we get to the CL final and (formally) clinch the league in the same episode?

Episode 9 - 10: The Finale

Two episodes to finish off this Beta save as everything gets wrapped up with our first (and only) season managing Olympique Lyonnais.
