Club Brugge have rescued you! Congratulations on getting through, although on the most narrow of margins!
Doing well with RB Salzburg in your career to date. Be interesting to see if you can win or at least challenge in the CL. Keep going.

Tah :) Too close for my liking!

Thanks. Hoping for another good go at it!

Marcel Schmid - It's a very exciting draw for this club, to take on a team of this level! Just like Real Madrid last year it's going to be a fantastic 180 + minutes and we can't wait :)

It's safe to say there is nothing to lose here, they are the current Champions and are one of the most successful sides ever, so we have to just try our best and hope for some luck.

Marcel Schmid - A huge win before the mid-season before the break. We needed this performance for the fans after the disappointment against Inter. We know we are better than what we showed there and it is so good that we managed to reply like this.

It took us a while to get the breakthrough but we were in control throughout, and then the goals just came along.

Marcel Schmid - We played against some quality opposition and held our own. That is exactly what we where hoping for as we build up to the Barcelona game.

We have 6 days left to prepare for that one and everyone is up for the tremendous challenge that we will face.

It's important to stay focused on what we have worked on to get to this point, to show what we can do at this level :)

Samper looks very good and for free I couldn't say no. He will be a good player to rotate.

Botheim got 13 goals and 8 assists in 27 league games in 2020, he is certainly going to provide competition for Prevljak and more bodies after Jonathan Soriano retired in November.

The board made another signing from Ried. He's a young striker with high finishing for his age, may develop to be a first team player.

Finally, Patrick Pentz. I made thousands of bids for this guy. At one point they listed him for €3m, but didn't accept it and then they wanted just over €10! It's mainly to hopefully increase Von Ballmoos average rating but also to annoy our rivals :)

Philipp Köhn was my sub keeper. He is too young to be sat on the bench and isn't good enough to replace our starting GK.
Samper is a fantastic signing, especially on a free. Botheim has a good record in-front of goal, but also creating chances - the hybrid player you may need to help you on your way to success. The other two signings are interesting, but Pentz's signature will significantly weaken one of your rivals.
Samper is a great signing and to get him on a free is even better. It will be interesting to see if he can perform against Barca, being his former club, in what is going to be a tough test.
As the other two have pointed out, Samper is a solid signing for the upcoming season. Botheim however, with his goalscoring record looks like a shrewd buy.
ScottT, TheLFCFan and Jack - I was surprised there was no other interest for Samper who is 4 star ability in this team!

Botheim can play anywhere across the front line so was a real coup :)

They are here!
More importantly he's here!

Thomas Tuchel took the reigns of the current Champions this season after 2 years with PSG. He has already brought them a Club World Cup, but they where losing finalists in the UEFA Super Cup (2-1 vs Manchester City).

They topped a group containing Ronaldo's Juventus and Ajax, they only collected 1 point from the two meetings with the Turin side but results elsewhere went their favour.

Marcel Schmid - We saw tonight why they are the current holders of this competition. I don't think this is the worse it could have been, 2-0 down we still have a chance of doing something in the next game, so credit to the team tonight for managing to hold them out in the 2nd half.

We look forward from here to the Rapid game in the Cup QF!

Rapid - They took us all the way tonight in a wonderful game, but we just had enough in the penalty shootout. Both teams deserved to go through but i'm glad it was us. Through to the semis again and this time we have to be up for the game, we will not switch off :).

Mattersburg and Hartberg - Two games that we didn't take for granted. The job had to be done here and that's what happened. This sets us up nicely going into the crucial stage of the season. I'll say what I said last season, we just have to keep winning and leave the rest to our rivals!
