Marcel Schmid - A perfect month for us! Conceding just 3 goals is very impressive and 2 of those came a few days after that hard fought Cup semi.

We have just 3 games left now, the next 2 games will be big for us to get ready for the Final against PSG. Everybody knows what a tough ask it will be to be them, but if we are up for it we can win and we must focus on playing our own game :)

PSG in their first Semi-Final since 1995! They made it past Manchester City in the last round, one of the favourites for the title.

Lille win their first CDL, Monaco would have faced Reims :(
A much better month, momentum is gaining now! I think we can look forward to a big season next year!
Perfection!
TheLFCFan and ScottT - This is what we want to see for next season :)

Marcel Schmid - We played a fantastic game against Guingamp to get us past the 80 point mark. That's why the team was fully changed for the final game because you can see the consistency of our firepower, to be top scorers in this league is impressive and we didn't want injuries just a week away from the PSG game.

If you said this would be my first season, a 2nd place finish a semi-final and a final I would take that, because it allows us to build for next year and it's very exciting to be here at this moment. But we aren't done just yet we want to win a trophy this year! :)

A repeat of last years final in which PSG won. Last years final was Monaco first since 2010 when they also lost against PSG and now they return hoping to finally beat their Final nemesis!

PSG have won 6 of the last 7, only failing against Rennes in the 2019 Final .
Monaco last won it in 1991!

Marcel Schmid - Not how we wanted the season to end :( That early red card really hurt us, Youssef was just a bit eager there and I thought as it was early on we might get away with it, but the ref saw it as a red and i'm not going to say anything more about it.

We didn't get hold of the ball enough or create enough chances to give us an opportunity to win the game. PSG played the game well they had the advantage and made it pay!

I was hoping that 3 late substitutes would give us something extra and hopefully nick a late goal, there are always things we can look back on and do better next time.

We are all now excited to see what is next for Monaco, it's a big summer for us :)

It was a huge disappointment for PSG to bow out of the Champions League semi after getting so close to their first final appearance!

Wolfsburg entered their first ever EL final as underdogs, but got a late winner in injury time to help send it to penalties!

What a story as Atlético Madrid lift the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE for the first time at the Camp Nou!

They reached the final by beating the team who were hoping to claim their 3rd successive title in their own ground, but the legendary Diego Simeone finally gets to lift the famous trophy 10 and 1/2 years after taking the reigns!

1974, 2014 and 2016 are the years in which Atlético were just a victory away from claiming it, the 2 later are the real bugbears as they faced Real Madrid.

Inter where in their first final since winning it in 2010, they held onto possession as expected, but Atléti had all the chances and it took until the 90th Minute! And they couldn't have hoped for anyone else to have scored the winning goal.

Congratulations :)

Monaco UEFA Youth League Champions! Maybe the club can help some players progress through their ranks instead of looking elsewhere for young talent.

Pellegri cleans up the voting for players of the season.

Xaver Schlager is looking an absolute bargain now, the clubs signing of the season!

3 players make the TOTS and Schmid's decision to stick with Bennasser after they lost Tielemans paid off.

Pietro Pellegri demolished all opposition including Kylian Mbappé, which is no mean feat! 32 in 36 is unbelievable!

His stand out season so far! Winning the Golden Shoe is a big achievement, dominated by Lionel Messi for such a long time.

Can Monaco hold on to their star man?

It would usually be the build up to the FIFA World Cup in the summer, but it is in December this time around and it will be interesting to see how our club season is affected by that.

It could effect the major clubs in Europe as the top players return from the 'biggest' tournament in football, to the most important part of their season in the league and Europe!

It will be the final World Cup for two of the best players in football history!

Messi and Ronaldo will be playing for Argentina and Portugal for their last chance to win this crown, before they retire from their national sides.

The debate will be ongoing for the rest of time, who is the best?
Will this tournament help determine it?

Ronaldo won the Euros in 2016
Messi won the Copa America in 2020

We were approached last season for the Dortmund job which would have been very good for Marcel Schmid, but it wouldn't have been the right thing to do so early into his Monaco career.

Lea is already 1 year old, she was born in Salzburg, but wasn’t there long as Marcel moved to Monaco the year she was born.

This year’s summer break will be spent back in Austria. Their family, Lea’s Grandparents will want to see her, friends too.

Just like Monaco, Salzburg is a magical place to live, Marcel and Helena decided to spend some time in the Salzburg Lake District.

They chose to rent a place for the summer (Certainly one of the perks of being involved at the highest level in football). Schmid is on €50k a week, so this kind of thing is certainly available to them.

The whole family get to be together again, because not long after he birth Marcel was back in pre-season and it was down to Helena to be the parent when he was away.

It's certainly a statement of intent managing to retain Pietro Pellegri on a long term deal! He is only 21 so Monaco is probably the best place for him to be, but he was top scorer in Europe last year an that makes the big clubs look up.

There are a lot of clauses involved in the contract that will be worth it because when the inevitable sale does come we will get a huge fee for a players who is World Class :) It could rival that €180m PSG paid for Mbappé in 2018.
