Managing Middlesbrough, 3rd season. Promoted to Prem via play-offs 1st season, finished 6th in Prem and into Europa league 2nd season and finished 4th and into Champs league 3rd season.
All players and board happy as you would expect, but my superb keeper who is vice captain and on the best wages at the club (just signed a new contract) is now unhappy as I rejected a transfer bid from.....wait foir it.....Southampton, who have finished 14th, 17th and 16th in the 3 seasons!! They are also skint and have no manager. If it had been Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City etc I would not have been bothered but Southampton - Odd or what!!?? Has this happened top anyone else?
