At Matchday 14 we meet Club Brugge away, The biggest clasico in Belgium, these clubs are rivals, enemies for centuries. The 2 clubs with the highest reputation, highest fan base of Belgium and both 1 and 2 for winning the most titles in Belgium.
We got had a difficult day at Bruges but at the end we still won. The regularity of prestations of some players are rocking, one game they have 9.5 and a game after 6.1, I got to motivate them a little bit more after a huge win, no days off.
First 15 games
ScottT: Yeah mate only the board isn't happy about it, really need to go for that title, no other way around.
Justice:: Luckily I won the important game against Bruges that will give some extra confidence for the players, I'll hope that they can succeed.
At the beginning of year 2020, I've received my first personal price! I'm the Belgian manager of the (half)Year!
We did a lot of great work. Manager of the Year: Belgium
Peter Vdbempt: Hi Maurice, Congratulations being the Belgian Manager of The Year, how do you feel? Do you think you deserve it?
- Maurice De Paarse: Thanks Peter, I feel really great, if you know that I only started my career 6 months ago without any experience I think it feels deserved. I'm really proud of my staff and my squad, this a price for the whole club, for all the fans who kept singing 90 minutes long every game. We're heading off for a stable first place. I'm not scared to say that winning the title is an absolute must.
Filip Joos: "I think you shouldn't be that confident, that early loss against Cerlce in the Cup showed that your players can't work with pressure, a lot of things can happen at the Play-Offs."
-Maurice De Paarse: "Well Filip, I know you don't like Anderlecht that much but I'll do everything to prove you wrong."
Filip Joos: Oh no that's not what i meant. I only think you need to be aware of the situation. I'm as neutral as a noun."
-Maurice De Paarse: I'm fully aware of the position we're standing right now. Believing in our performance and work is something else than blindly saying that we'll win the title."

Golden Boot of The Year
Chadli is currently injured for 2 months and the last games weren't going great (funny how realistic this was in real life). Like in real life we're putting all our hope at Doku at the wing. Pjaca is still not perfectly fit.
We had another defeat home against our biggest enemies, Standard Liège. Missing Chadli is becoming really noticeable. Also troubles with Nasri, Trebel, Bakkali and Zulj aren't helping me with the general support of the squad.
But the overwhelming victory against the 2nd, Racing Genk, cleaned that defeat against Standard. We made 3 beautiful goals at Genk, check them out below, also (@Jack) Kemar Roofe scored his first goal, also below
Nice goals against Cercle
January League Table
Also Trebel is sold for 8 million at Beijing Guoan (only got 1 million for transfers for it)
Thomas Vermaelen (Free Transfer) is our only incoming transfer due to financial problems.
NOTE nice win of your youngsters at the UEFA Youth League against Juventus ScottT: True mate but the finances of the club are like in real life, horrible, I'm at -100 million debt. TheLFCFan: Yeah mate everything but the finances are going very smooth
OneMoreGame: Absolutely mate! Both clubs goth a lot of talent, with my club you need to go for 1 every year.
Justice:True, like you can see now, we're making a big lead.
Been following this from afar, and just wanted to congratulate you on your process. You're doing well at Anderlecht, considering the state of their finances [€100m of debt!!]. It's only a matter of time before the squad is torn apart so that debts can be repaid, so the real test is how Maurice can recover from that. You're doing well in the league, so it seems like you have the right tactics in place, which makes all of your players replaceable if you can bring in someone that fits your tactic.
