When you say 'get a Son' do you mean that 'junior' who is your bioligical son on the FM game, will play at the club you manage?

I have played FM games for many years and normally have saves of 12+ seasons ....and never heard of a 'son' being entered into the game.

If i am way-off then please forgive me but i dont understand the post.
Also if we are talking 'your boy comes and plays at the club' ...have you had that happen in a FM save?....if yes, how does that feel?..it must be amazing to have happen.

Ive played FM for almost 10 years now, and its never happened to me. I think you have to do over 5 season and maybe youll get lucky. But the odds are like winning the lotto from what I've read.

If you do the maths, playing for 500 yrs, assuming 20 people/intake, should most times get you a son.

Exactly what it says on the tin... you have a son generate during the youth intake at a club. The odds are as above. No other requirements. Doesn't matter how many seasons you play, doesn't increase the odds.

I've been reading a number of articles on this but as it turns out, on FM20, this doesn't work as it did in previous versions.

I've found that if you save the day before a youth intake and then reload to try and get a son (if/when they don't appear), it won't generate different names.

I've tried this on three different saves, and saving the games a few days before the intake (not the day before), but still the players generated always have the same names.

This will make infinitesimally harder to get a son in FM20
