They always do well the first 2-3 times I implement them into a tactic, after that the AI tight/man marks them and they start playing like crap.

The above guy is one out of three, the worst of them in terms of stats, none of them are described as inconsistent nor do they have any negative traits.
I have used something similar to FM21WARRIORKnap4442P104ECCC .... and the DLP position in that 4-4-2 never works for me, the max I can get out of a DLP is a rating of 6.5 which of course sucks.
I have had one guy in that position playing "okayish" as a defending DLP but I usually have to resort to use a mezzala along with a BBM, using two BBMs is a no go nor have I had luck with two BWMs and using the wings as a creative force.
As a note I should add that all teams without exceptions play extremely defensive against my side.
