I'm playing as go ahead eagles in my 6th season there. I have definitely overachieved in my time there but for some reason the board is so so cheap. This season they really outdid themselves. I sold my best player mid season for 7.5m (he had a release clause so there was nothing I could do) and another for 2.2m. I didn't use all the funds in the mid season figuring I'd be better off waiting for the off season to get a clearer picture of what we needed.
Anyway cut to the end of the season. I end 5th. They set my budget at 2.4m. Which is the most they've ever given me. HOWEVER. I already had 4.5m in the budget from the mid season sale. This 4.5m disappeared and I was left with just 2.2m.
Is this a glitch or does my board just really suck? In the past my transfer funds have always rolled over?
