Returning to FM after approx 9 years i think, used to play for thousands of hours. Originally began the whole football manager journey in a game called "The Boss" on C64, maybe some remember that lol God I loved that game, 300+ seasons, I still have the notebooks for every season, so yes, bit of a nerd
Basically I'm looking for some handy tips or advice, regarding a fresh start and return to the title. I'll only be using a skin or 2, and prefer to search all the rest of it inside the game - so no "wonder kid" or scout etc etc.
I have a huge soft spot for my old favourite team - Gelsenkirchen, so this will probably be a consideration for another fresh career start; but would like some pointers for a lesser team to try and guide up the divisions, learn, make mistakes, and find my feet again.
So, any set up tips, database starting advice, for a rags to riches basement team run
