GRAYSON FORCED TO RESIGN

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01564/simon-grayson_1564999c.jpg

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson has been forced to resign due to a car accident. Our sources say that Grayson is currently in a life support machine and may had suffered brain damage. With the news that Leeds United have just returned to the championship who will take his place to help Leeds survive the drop this time next season.

After seeing this I thought I had to act if I was ever going to start my career as a football manager, and what a place to start, the team I love Leeds United. I got straight onto my emails and sent one out to Leeds United Football Club, directed at chairman Ken Bates.

Dear Ken,

I am writing to you as I want to declare my interested in the job you have to offer, the managerial position at Leeds United Football Club, I have recently finished my coaching courses and managing a local semi-pro team. I am so sad to hear about what happened to Simon but I see this as an opportunity for me to capatalise on my managerial career. I love Leeds United and always have and I am a very loyal supporter who will want everything for this club and instead of consolidation this year I see Leeds challenging for the title. I hope you take my application seriously.

Yours Sincerely
Sam Barrell
Barrell Given A Chance

I'm on my way home from work driving along the M62 towards Leeds, I stop at the closest service station for a coffee. I take my laptop inside to burn some time I go through my emails and there it is. One message from Ken Bates. I was scared to open it to see if he has just laughed at my application but this was the complete opposite.

Dear Sam Barrell,

I know you have a passion for this club as I seen you have attended all the games for the last 6 years, I'm not too sure about your managerial experience but I am willing to let you have a go because I have a feeling you could do great things for this club. Stop off at Elland Road 7am tomorrow.

I have never been so excited in my life, so the next day I went down to Elland Road and was offered a 3 month contract and my job will be reviewed in late September.

Next update will be when I get an audience so I can discuss the team, tactics and get on with results.
This is on the game right?
