Why can't I sign Ricardo Moniz for my Tottenham side? He has been signed by Man City from FC RB Salzburg a few years back, and ever since I have been trying to sign him but he doesn't want to enter negotiations. Does he have something personal against Totteham or me as a manager?

I have won the EPL 3 times, FA 2 times, LC 4 times and CL once. And I have the second highest reputation in England, next to Man Utd. I don't know why he doesn't want to sign.
Maybe his agent hates you, if thats why try signing some lower rep players that his agent has on his books so you can improve your relationship, just don't cancel negotiations or he'll hate you again. This could also be expensive too.
Yeah having the same problem with Moniz. I was managing "lowly" Almeria in La Liga. Club's reputation was above 7000, and the club had money to spend as well.
Same story with German coach called Peters.
Thanks for your replies, but I'm still having problems because it seems that coaches don't have any agents. I still don't know why he doesn't want to sign with me even though higher reputation coaches are easily signed by my club.
i think that if you try to sign him many times you start to disturb him... the same happened to me. even though i'm not as reputed as you, Moniz and many other coaches after a few rejections wouldn't even negotiate with me. after 3 years i quit trying..
moniz was a tottenham coach when martin jol was manager when jol got sacked moniz was also sacked
