can't offer part-time contract

I'm playing worcester city in the BSN and when I want to offer a part-time contract to youth players and amateur players I can select the part time contract drop down option but I can't select a contract lenght.

I've got my board to give me a professional club status and have given players who are already on a part time contract a new part time contract succesfully. How can I prevent the amateur and youth from being taken away from me if I can't give them a part time contract ?????

Maybe you have too much wages.

Or your club is deep within Debt.

I'm affraid this isn't a sollution:

club balance: 87.489 €
wage budget: 28.743 €
total wages: 22.539 €
loans outstanding: -
club status: professional

+ I can give players who already have a part-time contract a new contract (with improved wages sometimes).

Because you have gone full-time you can't offer part-time contracts to new players, you have to offer them full-time ones. I'm surprised your allowed to offer current part-time players new part-time contracts.

@gert78 - I've had the same problem when I was in the BSN. I am a semi-professional club and I had a player on a part-time contract but when I went to offer him a new contract and chose the Part Time contract type it wouldn’t let me chose a contract length. This has to be a bug?

@evo: I can only offer Part-time and amateur contracts which supprised me.

@Utaka: Indeed has to be a bug..

Does anyone have any idea where I can post this and find out if it's really a bug ?

They know there's a problem but there is a quick fix.

The error only happens when you offer the player a hot prospect status. Just change the squad status to youngster, backup, rotation,... and you can select a contract lenght !
