Can they be stopped

as we reach the quarter mark of the season the barcelona players , staff and fans are beginning to dream of another title with 12 wins from their opening 13 games the signs are well and truly there. and with Real Madrid sitting back in 7th place after the dismal start to the season which i dont think theyve recovered from our 6-1 demolition of them way back in august, the question is Can Barcelona be stopped ?

our last few matches i have tinkered with the tactics and employed and attacking but possession based 4-6-0 with the false '9' as they say and im pleased with the emphatic wins we have been getting with this change. Daniel alves and Jose Angel being very valuable in this formation as they rarely spend time in our own half alwasy offering us width if we need it, and Xavi , Iniesta and Ganso running the midfield.
we drew Zamora in the Spanish cup so i decided to throw a few of our youngsters in and give them a go in both legs and they duly delivered winning 9-1 on aggragate mainly after the 6-0 thrashing at the nou camp which has seen has us move onto the next round and keeps our hopes of retaining the cup well and truly alive.

after months of negotiating and scouting. Barcelona has finally agreed personal terms with Neymar and will join up with the squad when the transfer window opens on the 2nd of January. in the last 2 season with santos Neymar has bagged 63 goals in 96 games. ill be hoping he can recapture that form and help lead this team to even more glory. Eric Abidal and David villa have signed with Olympique Marseille and Bayern Munchen respectively in a combined deal of $13.75m
i dont see anymore players coming in as we have adequate backup for all positions but saying that we will not rule out anything.

stay tuned.
The draw has been made for the 4th round of the Copa Del Rey and we have been put up against Sporting, they are a team i am expecting to get past easily but will still put out a strong team to avoid an upset. the 2md leg will be key as we will be playing in front of 102,980 fans at the Camp nou.
we could end up playing Real Madrid if we get past sporting.
Another El Classico so early in the season ?
Well done on the capture of Neymar. Seems like you rate Brazilians a lot! Can you tell me more about the first tactic? Btw, will you be trying to get Jordi Alba?
heres though pictures you were requesting :)

Thanks mate...

Halfway there - Turn of the year

The first event of the new year was the announcement of the Ballon Do'r, with several of my players shortlisted for the award Lionel Messi , Xavi and Andres Iniesta all among the favourites. the eventual winner of the award went to Lionel Messi with Mario Gotze and Javier Pastore following 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Fc Barcelona would like to welcome the arrival of Neymar from santos and young Argentinian playmaker Matias Ezequiel Reynoso signed for free after his contract expired. we beleive the latter will turn into a superstar. with the signing of Neymar shirt sales are set for a very sharp increase and could further improve our finances. Eric Abidal heading in the other direction to Marseille

The European Champions League has seen us draw Ajax Amsterdam in the first knockout round, with the first leg to be played at the Amsterdam ArenA and the return leg at the Camp Nou

not that your finances need improving
I like the story so far, I managed Barca for a year but didnt enjoy it as there was nowhere to go but down and no reasons for transfers but you seem to be doing well, also how much did you pay for neymar?
Shaneo may I know the Team Instructions for your 4-6-0 tactic?
Shane swanston has shocked the footballing world by announcing his resignation from Fc Barcelona after 2 and a half years in charge .. there has been no interest shown in any other clubs. Local papers are suggesting Shane could wait until after the world cup to start making his move looking for a new job

A new adventure

After six months out of a job Shane Swanston has agreed to take charge of the Belgium national side ahead of there Euro 2016 qualifiers and will be hoping to lead his team of youngsters to Euro 2016. with key players such as Vincent Kompany, Marouane Fellaini and Eden Hazard this is very possible

out Euro Qualifying group consists of

Scotland
Liechtenstein
Albania
San Marino
Bosnia & Herzogevina

with the teams weve been drawn against i will be expecting to finish in top spot in out group with the only real struggle being Scotland away..
It will be interesting to see how you do with Belgium, looking forward to it.

Shane Swanston has announced his squad for the upcoming friendly against Northern Ireland.
