Goal Glut for luton in League 2 demolition


Luton 4-0 Hereford

Well Well Well - What an outstanding display of attacking football. Shane Byrne- coming back from injury made such a huge boost to our previously tired midfield.

Hatters hold on to see off Hartlepool


Hartlepool 1-2 Luton

This was a very close encounter but I definitely believe that we deserved to take home all 3 points. Scott McGliesh was outstanding and bagged his fisrt ever Luton goals.

Rotheram frustrate Luton in one sided encounter


Rotheram 1-1 Luton

We outplayed Rotheram but we just couldn't finish today - McGliesh, in particular squandered many chances infront of goal. Despite this we reamin in second place in League 2.

Town edge past Rovers in nervy encounter


Luton 2-1 Bristol Rovers

This match could have gone either way. Having took the lead early, Rovers took command and pulled one bak on the stroke of half time. However veteran Scott McGliesh netted what proved to be the winner after 69 minutes.

Hatters add Airey on a free transfer


I am delighted with this signing. Airey has great pace and scored 29 goals for Gateshead last season whilst on loan from Newcastle - He has a great track record for goal scoring. I am sure he will be an inspired transfer.

Airey makes instant impact on debut scoring winning goal vs Torquay


Luton 1-0 Torquay

Phil Airey delighted Hatters supporters by scoring an incredible solo goal on his debut just minutes after coming on as a substitute. However this wasn't our best performance at all and we will have to pick things up quickly. However another 3 points added to continue our inspired home form in League 2 so far.

Wow the guy looks good... ALL THAT SPEEEEEEEEED! Better train him in finishing/Composure as much as possible though, he might mess up the odd few chances with that :P

Luton destroy sorry Morecambe in demolition day

This was by far our best performance so far - Airey was outstanding and deserved a goal. The stand out performer was Robbie Willmott who bagged a hatrick.

INJURY NEWS - KEANE SUFFERS BROKEN LEG

Influential midfielder Keith Keane suffered a broken leg against Morecambe at Kenny. This is a huge loss but I am sure we will get by fine without him.

This was a very efficient display - we looked very threatening indeed and Phil Airey caused the defence huge problems with his pace. This win sees us rise to 2nd in the table behind Southend.
