Arsene Retires, Freddie Ljungberg hired

So The legend retired, and Ljungberg was hired, it was a shock to us all, out of all people, but Arsene had said he would find his replacement, he said it was a former player.

Ljungberg hasn't maanged yet, so he will be pressured. Tough game coming up for him, Manchester City - Community shield.
Wenger did leave Arsenal in a state, selling of Key Players. Jack Wilshere to United for £39.5Million, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to City for £21.5Million, Aaron Ramsey to Chelsea for £16.75Million. Walcott wants to leave, but he will have a big budget, and will not be afraid to sell.

Aaah the joy of being manager, especially of my favorite team, I love this place, it feels good to be home, but what the f*ck happened to my team, how could Arsene sell those key players, it's same old with him. But to tell the truth if it weren't for him I wouldn't be here, he made me a player and a manager.

So with key players gone, I was left with a massive budget, i adjusted here and there and got it from 40 Million to 53 million, aswell as having enough money for wages for key players.

My first goal was to sell, and that's what I did:
Podolski - Wigan - £5 Million
Alvara - Getafe - £3.9 Million
Aly Cissokho - QPR - £3 Million
Denilson - Reading - £5 Milloin
Arteta - Celta - £1.6 million
Aurtenetxe - Swansea - £4 Million
Ebecillio - Bournemouth - £5,000
Djourou - Werder Bremen - £2.9million
and last but definitely not least, Theo Walcott - Manchester City - £20 Million

With that money, I went to the Transfer list, I had way over £100 million in the bank and I got rid of loads of player wages. So I checked the Database of the Transfer Listed players, and I was shocked.
The amount of Key players that were available, I searched up and down, Hernandez, Young, Fabio, Henderson, Damiao, Ter Stegen, Fabio and David Bloody Silva, I knew what I was going to do. Spend, Spend, Spend.

I had targeted to spend £100,000,000, and was going to keep the rest for January.
I went to the Manchester Players first, I was absolutely shocked to see the players on that list.
I understand what Wenger meant when he said, check the database, you WILL be happy about Wilshere going, and boy was I happy.
See Wilshere went for Roughly £40million, his replacement, Tom Cleverly, cost £8 Million
He wasn't the only one coming, I made an offer for 3 other United Players: Fabio - £3.5 Million(Sagna is 32, so I'll need someone to come in), Hernandez - £8.75 Million( Podolski's left, Giroud could head that way) and Ashley Young £4.2 Million(Walcott Replacement).
As they were all transfer listed, they were all coming in on a cheap. Obviously Manchester City had key players that they were not going to keep, the most Notable were David Silva and Jordan Henderson, I wasn't going to spend big on wages so I bought Henderson for £3.5Million and David Silva on Loan, Paying only 50% of his wages.
So 6 Playes for 27.05Million where as Walcott and Wilshere sold for £60million, see that's Business.

There were 3 players on my list that I was also going to buy, Ter-Stegen had a £16.5 Million release clause, and I activated it.
Leandro Damiao wanted to Leave, I Offered 5 Million up front, £20 Million over 48 Months.
Erik Lamela wasn't transfer listed, but I wanted him in my team, i offered £10million upfront then £20million over 48months, all 3 were part of the team, I was done, i had hit £100Million and wasn't buying no more players.

Community Shield

As we approach th Community Shield, FA Cup champions last season Arsenal will be facing Barclay's Premier League Champions Manchester City.
The match will be a close one with Man City being favorites in the match.
There has been a feud between managers before the match, Ljungberg, who will be heading into his first competitive match as an Arsenal manager, saying he would destroy the City side. Mancini replied saying that Ljungberg must be dreaming if he thought he could win.
The atmosphere is amazing, and both sets of fans would love to see their teams come out on top

Kick Off:
5 Mins: Arsenal seem to be dominating and pushing forward, Man City's attacking players cant seem to break the defence.
17 Mins: Vermaelen intercepts a ball from Rafael, lays it of first time to Felipe, who passes it to Greizmann, plays it forward to Holtby, Holtby looks up and passes it through to Damiao, Damiao Strikes it Low and Hard, GOAL!! Leandro Damiao scores on his debut. Arsenal 1-0 City.
30 Mins: Many efforts from both teams but the Leandro Damiao goal still separates them.
32 Mins, a failed header from Nasri, lands to Holtby, plays it to Cazorla who is unmarked, Santi Curls it in. GOAL!! Arsenal 2-0 Man City, and Goetze is furious with the assistant as there are calls for offside.
45+1 Mins. Half Time - Arsenal 2-0 Manchester City. Oxlade-Chamberlain makes his City debut against his former team, Balotelli also comes on.
77 Mins: more agony for Manchester City, Oxlade-Chamberlain is injured and City have used up all of their substitutes.
84 Mins: Hernandez laid it first time to the right first time ahead of Sagna, He puts the ball into the 6-yard-box, Lamela lets it bounce before hitting the volley, GOAL!! Lamela scores on his debut and that must surely seal it. Arsenal 3-0 Manchester City.
90+3 Mins: Final whistle, the Arsenal fans go wild and the players are celebrating all over the field, Ljungberg will be one happy man. Winning a title in his first game.

Post Match:
Arsenal will definitely be happy with the result, their new stars have impressed with Hernandez, Lamela and Ter-Stegen impressing the side. But the person who impressed the most was Leandro Damiao, the striker opened the scoring and bagged himself the MoTM award.
