Friendlies
I decided to take the lads on a tour of Mexico, to experience a different climate and culture, but most importantly to beat some Mexican teams.Unfortunately we had to cancel the wedding intra-squad friendly, but it's worth it. First of all we come up against the big Daddies, America. Next we face Chivas Guadalajara, Javier Hernandez's former club. Then we face Cruz Azul in a match that will be broadcast on TV. Finally we face 2 Italian teams, Cuneo and Vincenza.
Gotta go guys!
Be back 2-ish.
Mazzola's First Press Conference
"Hello, settle down everybody, settle down."
"Sandro, aren't you a little old to be starting you managerial career?"
"Not at all.Look at Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger. I know I'm starting a little late, but I understand football.I understand Inter.I am the right man to take this club forward, and then, yes pass the job on to somebody younger."
"The facilities at Internazionale are one of the best in the world, are you excited to work in such a great environment?
"Well, yes.But as they say, the bigger the burden the greater the loss.Or something like that.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that these great facilities also come with massive upkeep costs.Unfortunately we are in £800 million of debt and we are finding it hard to afford it."
"Do you know who you intend to keep and who you intend to sell?"
"Yes, I have a rough idea."
"What style of football should we expect from Inter?"
"I like to play a very attacking style, yes."
"What are your expectations in the Serie A?
"I expect Inter to challenge for the title this season and hopefully overthrow Juventus."
"How much do you intend to be involved in the day to day running of the club?"
"I want to completely overhaul Internazionale."
Inter Press Officer: Ok, that's all we have time for today.Good bye.
Nice first press conference matt! Love seeing an Inter story here, can't wait for the first matches!

Neither will join until Jan 2013.

Sneijder Moves To Arsenal
Wesley Sneidjer, Internazionale's now former attacking midfielder has today joined Arsenal for £30million,becoming Arsenal's record transfer and breaking Arsene Wenger's philosophy of never spending more than £20million than on a player. This transfer is believed to have payed off some of Inter's debt, as well as getting him off the wage bill.
Manager Sandro Mazzola had this to say:
"This is a very sad day for the club.We wish Wesley all the best at Arsenal."
Mazzola's View: We've got him off the wage bill, but only have £2million to spend. To the loan market and frees!
Cruz Azul v Inter
Lineups
Cruz Azul
------Gutierrez
Pinto-Dominguez-Araujo-Chavez
Aquino-Torrado-Castro-Barrera
------Pavone--Oroczo
Inter
-------Handanovic
-Nagotomo-Samuel-Silvestre-Zanetti
-----------Cambiasso
----Duncan---Gargano--Mudingayi
-----------Coutinho
-----------Milito
Cruz Azul 1 - Inter Milan 3
(Oruzco 19) (Milito 42, Coutinho 52, Cassano 80)
Subs: Inter: Pereira (Nagotmo), Cassano (Milito)
This game was our first win of the pre season. After Orozco's goal, we thoroughly dominated the match. They hardly had any more shots (2) and we dominated possession (55%). Our players were extremely tired, and Milito was on just 71% for fitness, but Cassano was only on 68%.
Mazzola's View: Finally we were clinical, although 1 win out of 3 matches is just not good enough.
Won't be an update tommorrow guys as moving house
My computer crashed last night, and lost all my saved data
