Well here goes my first ever post.

I will be playing as Norwich city my favourite team. The goal here will be do something along the lines as what Sir Alex did at Manchester United.

As Im new to this any tips regarding layout and posts would be appreciated. Also any tips for a first time manager would be awesome.

First post will be coming soon.

August 2012 update

Fixtures

Man city away loss 1-0 PRM
All in all not a bad start to the season. Happy with the loss to city as that was expected and the result could have been a lot better if we hadn't let a cheap goal in in the first minute. However a 1-0 loss at city is something I cant complain to much about.

Newcastle home won 5-2 PRM
Fantastic result. had a pre match scare when keeper John ruddy came down with a injury however its not to serious and he will only be out for a week. replacement keeper Mark Bun was not in the best of form but my forwards were on fire and secured a great result including a brace from skipper Grant Holt

Swindon home won 2-0 CAP
Little disappointing score line but I did send in a second rate team and even featured u18 twins Josh and Jacob Murphy. Skipper Grant Holt continues great early season form with another double. Most important thing is we got the result and are through to the next round.

If anyone can tell me how to screen print pictures from the game like league tables and fixtures onto here that would be appreciated.

Alt+F9 takes a screenshot in FM13.

An easier way would be to go to your Start Menu and search for Snipping Tool. You can then take pictures of whatever part of the screen you select, and then save it.

This link should become your best friend as you write your story :p tells you how to put in pictures and different headings etc and will make your story more readable as well :)
To put a picture in, take a screenshot of your screen, save it somewhere on your computer, go to www.imgur.com and upload the screenshot you've just taken, right click on the image on the screen and click copy image URL. On your story in a new post paste the image URL between these two brackets - [img] [/img] and it should work. If done right it will look something like this

September 2012 update

Fixtures

West Brom home won 2-1 PRM
Great win after going down 1-0 in the first half and never really looking in the game. Turned it around in the second half with Micheal Turner coming off the bench to score the winner.

b]Reading away won 4-1 PRM
This was always going to be a big game against fellow relegation candidates. Two early goals however made it a fairly comfortable afternoon. Massive win for the club.

Newcastle home won 1-0 CAP
Fantastic result again after almost falling behind to a early goal from a corner. Bassong was superb in defence. Holt won the match in the 41st minute with a supurb header from a Pilkington corner. Bad point was micheal turner picking up a injury and will be out for about 3 months.

West Ham home won 1-0 PRM
Another big relegation game. A poor game really. Neither team made many chances with sebastion bassong heading the winner in in the 88th minute from a corner.

Standings

pos team pld pts
2 man city 6 18
3 spurs 6 13
4 Norwich 6 12
5 man utd 6 11
6 chealsea 6 10

Fantastic month all around. Little disappinted to miss manager of the month. However we are well above where I expected to be in the league and seem well set to get the magical 40 points. And to add to the great league form we have a little bit of a cup run going and have drawn wolves at home so should see us progressing to the next round!
Good start :)
thanks mate. couple of other updates coming soon
End of season update

Sorry guys got a little carried away and forgot to post anything. to cut a long story short we finished the season in 9th position. A very solid effort for Norwich city. Will be more in depth posts coming next season with pictures etc. Look for first post later in the week.
