Ever since their formation in 1893, Stuttgart have always been one of the bigger clubs in Germany and have great facilities and coaches etc.

Current Squad

Stadium: Mercedes - Benz Arena

Capacity: 60 441
Built: 1933 and revamped in 2009

For this story I am going to try and get VfB Stuttgart back into Europe and back in contention for the Bundesliga title, not much of a challenge so will most probably be a shortish story.

Goals first 2 seasons

  • Finish in the top 5
  • Qualify for at least the Europa League

Goals next 2 seasons

  • Challenge for the Bundesliga title
  • Qualify for the UEFA Champions League

Goals seasons 4 to 6

  • Win the Bundesliga
  • Win the UEFA Champions League

I tried to make these goals spread out, so that I dont get into a financial predicament and give me time to rebuild this once great team.

Will be adding all friendlies and transfers soon :)
Good luck.

Love the Bundesliga
The latest news out of Stuttgart sees VfB making a few important signings ahead of the coming Bundesliga season, and in an attempt to fund these transfers they have had to sell of a bit of the clubs deadwood.

Transfers OUT:

Arthur Boka to Sevilla for £3.5M
Alexander Stolz to Borussia Dortmund for £825K
Sebastian Hertner to Saarbrucken on a Loan

Transfers IN:

Daniel Schwaab from Bayer Leverkusen for £2.3M
Hugo Nervo from Arsenal de Sarandi for £625K

Daniel Schwaab

Great signing for VfB, really needed a RB as we only had on on loan from Schalke (Hoogland), so now he will be able to get good game time and hopefully improve into a starter for the National team.

Hugo Nervo

Another great talent, but Nervo will need a bit more work to get him into the first team starting position. I just hope him will be able to settle in Germany well, as most Southern Americans tend to have homesickness.

Quick Question

Do you guys think I should sell Cacau? Ive been offers £7.5M over a period of 48 months, is that a fair deal?

£7.5m for Cacau is a good deal but I personally hate monthly instalments. Try get cash now. Also Scwaab should be a good player for you
Over 48 months I never do that. Thats 4 years. I attempt to only ever go for 12 months thats all. Up to you though.
Yeah was thinking the same think, turns out I should have accepted it :P I just cant seem to score goals, and Cacau has managed a whole 1 goal from 16 starts
Anyone know of ways to motivate/train my strikers into scoring goals? none of them seems to want to be scoring, in total out of the 5 strikers ive been playing in about 20 matches they have scored a combined total of 8 goals
Maybe its the tactic? Have a private chat with some? Either way good signings well done

Yeah it could be, they seem to be finding a little bit of form atm, but still not what they should be at.

Ill do a full review of the season so far tomorrow hopefully
