Holtby, only starting from the bench on both games but certainly made a case to be in the starting line up. Two goals and MOTM against Southampton proved his worth and his quality.

Deadline Day Transfers

Joel Valencia, £875k from Zaragoza. The 17 year old attacking midfielder looks to have a bright future at Spurs. However, not in plans anytime soon, loaned straight to Leyton Orient.
Harry Kane, the young striker is also not in current plans and is also loaned to Leyton Orient.
Clint Dempsey and Gylfi Sigurosson have both been loaned to Real Madrid due to Tottenhams high number of attacking midfielders. Klinsmann feels they need first team action and will recall the players if needed due to other injuries.
