Raul Retires

Real Madrid legend Raúl has today announced his decision to retire from professional football; a decision that many have been expecting for years. Raúl disappeared from the world of football when he joined Al Sadd in the Qatar Stars League; a move thought to be centered around money.
This decision has come as a massive to surprise to those at Al Sadd; as he had only joined the club on the 12th of May this year (2012) however the club also announced that a powerful force in the World of Football had bought out his contract.
Raul's retirement has perhaps overshadowed the other major news coming from Spain today, La Liga outfit Sevilla have today announced their manager Unai Emery has been sacked with immediate effect.

Raúl left unemployed

Over the last week a lot has happened in the football universe, and especially in the city of Seville. Last week Sky Sports exclusively revealed that Sevilla had sacked manager Unai Emery; and had appointed Raul with immediate effect. Despite this swift transaction there have been tensions within the Sevilla camp over the course of the last seven days as Unai Emery (Former Sevilla manager) launched a scathing attack on Raul branding him a 'Homewrecker' who had taken his job. Emery quickly discovered he had the right to appeal the decision to sack him, and many major figures in the Sevilla dressing room chose to back their former manager until the end.
The appointment of Raúl saw major figures such as Chilean international Gary Medal, and Spanish boys Jesus Navas and Negredo; hand in transfer requests with the only condition on staying; the re-appointment of Unai Emery.
Earlier today we confirmed the re-appointment of Emery after Sevilla directors revealed they could simply not afford to let their main players leave; and they aimed to go up in the football ladder not down.
The only question left now is: What will Raúl González Blanco do? He is no longer a player for Al Sadd in Qatar, and no longer has a role with Sevilla due to the appointment of new Arch Enemy Unai Emery. Rumours suggest Raúl will not retract his decision to retire from football; and will instead focus on beginning a successful career in management.
Sorry lads I went away; cant wait to get back into this story :D
