The road comes to an end for Martin Andresen

The date is 18th of January 2013, and strange things is going on at Valle Hovin, Vålerenga's training ground. It is Vålerenga anniversary season and Oslo's best club turns 100 years old this year. The previous manager Martin Andresen had many seasons without quite succsess as manager of “Enga” . The fans were hungry for success and Vålerenga would like to celebrate its 100 years with silverware. It had long been expected that the 'legendary' manager, and former Norwegian international Kjetil Rekdal would bring success back to the capital. Therefore, the fans got a big surprise when they read the papers a few days later.

Translated: Vålerenga employ unknown Norwegian as their new manager.

WHO AM I?:
I have previously played for Vålerenga's youth teams, until I found out I did not have enough talent. I therefore had to content myself with cheering "Enga" from the crowd at Ullevål. My 26 years as a fan has brought a lot of knowledge about the club. My task is to lead Vålerenga to the success I and the rest of the fans have wanted for years.

I am sorry for any grammatical errors, there might be a lot of them as i'm only 16 and this is my first ever manager story.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Good luck, great start!

The team.

We do have alot of talented players.

Between the sticks, we have the experienced Canadian Lars Hirschfeld.

In defense we have giant Andre Muri as our best player. He's going to be an important part of the team's success this season.

Our best midfielder is Bojan Zajic. The experienced Serb will be important this year.

But we also do have Mohammed Fellah in midfield, a lot of clubs are interested in him. I'll do my best to keep the 23-year-old

I also expect Torgeir Børven deliver the goods this year. 21-year-old must score as he plays alone on top

The team needs reinforcement, especially defensively, where our only "quality player" is Andre Muri.

The transfer budget is:

Transfer: £ 347,939
Wage: £ 35,802

TRANSFER UPDATE

The Norwegian Tippeliga does not start before March. That means that I and the rest of the Tippeliga managers do have more than enough time to sign players. I have been quite busy so far and two big names have joined the club.

Unfortunately was Mohammed Fellah sold to Cluj.
But because of his departure we got alot of money.
Rasmus Falk is a very good player and I am looking forward to seeing how he develops.

PRESEASON

Our first friendly was not until the end of February. So I tried to put up many friendlies as quickly as possible, unfortunately could not the big teams meet up, and the journey was too long for the small teams. I still managed to put up a friendly against Swedish Hacken.

Our next game was against Ham-Kam, a boring game where we ended up with the victory. Not particularly convincing.

Then followed games against respectively Tønsberg, Kongsvinger and Eidsvold Turn. All matches ended in victory, without being too convincing.

All in all, an okay preseason, we could have won by more, but I'm very pleased that we won so many.
Good Pre-Season! I don't know much at all about Valerenga so hopefully this will serve as a bit of an educational story for me. All I know about them is they have Mohammed Fellah because he's good on FIFA13 :P

Thanks mate, unfortunately I sold Fellah, but I think my replacements will do a good job.
Thank you for commenting. :D
I don't know much about those teams so I don't know about the quality of victory, but the main thing is you won 4 out of 5, but tougher opposition lies ahead, no matter how good you do in friendlies, the regular competition is keen to upstage you!

Of course, the quality on the Tippeliga teams are much higher. You'll see that when the season starts :P
