José Mourinho returns to Chelsea
Portuguese manager José Mourinho has today been unveiled as the new Chelsea manager for the 2nd time. This news comes after months of speculation of Real Madrid doing badly and Rafa Benitez being interim manager and also having a bad reputation with the Blues fans.
Many Chelsea fans and owner, Roman Abramovich feared that previous arguments with Abramovich would put him off a return to the London side but the former Real Madrid and Porto manager described Stamford Bridge as 'home' and that his time in Madrid was a long hard slog that didn't exactly work out last season and hopes and promises Chelsea fans his reign will be successful, maybe the exception of previous success at Chelsea. Mourinho stated that it is written in the contract, whoever he wants he can have, if it isn't over the odds like previous years e.g. Torres. So, is there bright times ahead for the London club after a few years without a Premier League trophy? Will they put in a challenge every year for every cup? Time will tell but Chelsea fans are currently content with their latest recruit.
