Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray hired by Coventry.

Disaster for Middlesbrough as they are now without a manager just a month before the beggining of the season. Manager Mowbray had just signed a contract with Coventry as they offered an hour earlier. Our sources tell us that he had given a different choice as he said "give me a better transfer budget or I leave." As you can tell this was rejected and he left.

The new favourites for the job are:
Gareth Southgate 5/1
Nigel Pearson 11/1
Simon Grayson 15/1

Agreed.
Southgate Takes Boro Hot Seat Once Again

Gareth Southgate has once again been declared Middlesbrough's manager. After his dismissal in October 2009 following the relegation of Middlesbrough, he'll be determined to this time stay and get them back to where the mighty fell. However, Boro have spent around 3 seasons of Championship football and still no sign of promotion anywhere. Southgate will be under pressure to return them.
