BREAKING NEWS: Borussia Dortmund club website has confirmed that manager Jurgen Klopp has stepped down from his position as club manager.

Club president Reinhard Rauball said in the club statement "We can confirm that manager Jurgen Klopp has resigned, We are very sad to see Jurgen go but we will thoroughly search for his successor it will be a long process but we'll get the right man"

EX Borussia Dortmund player Paul Lambert has been appointed as club manager on a 1 year contract.

The Dortmund general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke said in a club statement "To have Paul back at this club is fantastic he helped us win the champions league in his playing years, and the players want to repay the favour and win the champions league for him as a manager.

My first press conference was not far away as Dortmund manager,I had mixed emotions i was happy to be back of course but on the other had nervous i thought to myself I'm a champions league manager,then i walk through to the board room which is next to the press room i can hear the press readying their cameras and phones then club president Reinhard Rauball says to me their ready for you Paul.

I walk in take a seat Reinhard introduces me as the new Dortmund manager then the questions fire away
