John Terry was busy tying up his shoelaces ready to go home when his boss summoned him to the office. John hesitated at first but José insisted and forced him.
"John, do you understand why I have called you in here?" José Mourinho clears his throat as they both sit down. John displays a face full of nerves and shakes his head, confused at what José means. He recalls the events in the past week and comes to one conclusion; he's being blamed for something he didn't do. Maybe it's racial abuse but he stops reminiscing and knows the turmoil he faced in the last court hearing.
"You bloody well should do!" José shouts loudly and John's eyes flinch, scared at his boss's remark.
"John, I heard your talk with Ashley and I am not impressed. You are a great captain and I was considering leaving you with the job once again but hearing that I am a d**k isn't nice. Is it?"
"No and I am sorry but it's just that-"
"Just what?" José asks, interrupting John. "Tell me."
"Nothing sir." Jonh whimpers.
"You are no longer the captain. Ashley will take your place."
"But-"
"No ifs or buts. Get out of my f***ing sight!"
John walks off, clearing distressed and wonders about his future.

I agree with Petr deserving it more but there is a reason why José picked Ashley which will be shown in further updates.

John called him a d***k, he deserved it. And Mourinho is probably depressed.

The team finish up training and the squad heads inside but John Terry pulls Ashley Cole aside and clears the air
"You idiot. I thought we were mates and you told the boss all about yesterday. Some friend you are." John says harshly as he watches Ashley look confused.
"John what the f**k are you on about?" Ashley asks and John gets his knuckles out, ready to punch his team mate. He stops and sighs cursing himself.
"I am no longer the captain because of you. Guess who is now?" John says sarcastically.
"Who?" Ashley asks, oblivious to the fact that it is him. "Petr?"
"Not Petr you d**k. You. You thought you'd tell the coach about me and steal my role as captain. You sick b*****d. Get lost." John spits out.
"John-"
"I said get lost."
Ashley gets his bag and runs off, confused at his best friend's antics.
