Hello! On the back of realizing that my old story was simply mission impossible, I have decided to start a new one with a club that I've never seen used on here. Meet JK Nõmme Kalju, who are last year's champions of the Meistriliiga, or Master League. I decided to go with them, as I have never seen an Estonian league save on here (most likely because it requires a data editor file to play), and also use a little-known team to bring a small country to glory (similar to HamoudiLFC's Pyunik Yerevan save). A bit of history on the club:
Nõmme Sports Club Kalju was founded on 20 December 1922. A year later Nõmme Kalju Football Club was founded, where local footballers played successfully for many years in Estonia's top division, the Meistriliiga.
In 1997 the team was re-established from Tallinna Jalgpallikool and Õhtulehe Noorte Jalgpalliklubi youth players. The team played eight years in a row in Estonian Third League. They played twice in promotion/relegation play-offs and on the second occasion were successful in winning promotion to the Second League in 2004. Then they started a run of successive promotions. In 2005, Nõmme Kalju won promotion to the Esiliiga by winning Second League. In 2006, the team was unsuccessful in the battle for promotion to the Meistriliiga, eventually finishing behind FC Kuressaare and JK Tallinna Kalev. In the middle of the 2007 season, Nõmme Kalju hired Brazilian Fredo Getulio who has worked with the group of coaches who led the Brazilian U-17 national team to their age-group World Cup. Nõmme Kalju also bought four Brazilian footballers. They finished 6th in the season 2007 and beat FC Kuressaare in the promotion/relegation play-offs, thus qualifying for the following year's Meistriliiga. In preparing for the next season in the Meistriliiga, the team needed reinforcement. Nõmme Kalju bought 16 new players, three of them were expatriate footballers and four were ex-international players.
They finished their first season in Meistriliiga in a surprisingly high fifth place, but after FC TVMK were disbanded they were awarded fourth place. The season started very well, Kalju were fighting over positions 1–5, but they had a little blip in the middle of the season. After signing ex-international Maksim Smirnov from FK Ventspils, the team started to do very well again, they lost the bronze position by only one point. In the 2009–10 season the team participated in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round for the first time in their history but were eliminated by FC Dinaburg.
Looks like they are a club without that much history. I will look to change that.
Who am I
I will be Estonian-born Belgium international Andrei Fortan, who exists solely for the purpose of this story. Andrei asks for the position, and he gets it.
I haven't properly started the save yet, this is just a write-up I made, will update tomorrow if possible.

I love stories like this, using small relatively un-used countries! Good luck Yuttra! (Pixel, always will be Yuttra to me!)
This does not look like a title-winning squad of anything, much less football or soccer. First of all, there are far too many attacking players for my style of play. The full-backs, good as they may be, are remarkably one-sided, and the average age of the squad is far higher than it should be. To add to that, the club is semi-professional and we will have a hard time signing new players. I am tempted to sign myself as a player for the club to resolve the problem at left midfield. The captain, however, looks quite capable:
His work rate is exceptional, and he knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. Capable of a 20+ goal season, if his lack of pace doesn't limit him too much.
Continental Competition
We have been entered into the second qualifying round of the Champions League, we will look to go as far in that competition as we can to bring in money and hopefully turn fully professional.
Other Information
Despite the club being based in Nõmme, the stadium of the club is in Tallinn. Media predicts a fourth-placed finish out of ten teams, thus qualifying for the Europa League if cup results go our way. Not allowed to scout outside of Estonia says the board. Standard of the league is below English 5th division, as well as Romanian 2nd division. League rules:
Not really the best of preparations for the season ahead, due to the thrashing by Parnu LM who are a division lower than us. I was pleased by the way we put nine past TiPS because, even though they are much lower opposition, seven different players scored.
A decent month that leaves us second in the league table. We lost out in the Super Cup, but this competition is of no importance. I was frustrated with our inability to hold a lead against Trans and Tallinna Kalev, two sides we really should have beaten.
Who else but Tarmo Neemelo? The former Estonia international was fantastic this month, scoring 10 goals in 6 games (though four of them came against weak opposition in the cup). If he keeps this up he will definitely have a 20+ goal season in the league.
I'm back! (Well, not posting-wise but my internet has been fixed) and it will be great to see that you have a story from Estonia! I was going to do an Estonian story but since I had Armenian Ancestors I wanted to "do this for the fam"
