I'm over 60 and retired, been playing FM for many years and am still putting in the hours. Actually started on Fifa Manager due to the graphics option. I'm a fanatic and do all the player/staff picture uploads too at the start of a save.

Anyhow, I want to post as to why I now play with the editor and what I use it for. I will add that I ONLY play with lower league teams, and prioritise youth and local players. I unlock all player attributes in every game now as I simply don't need to waste the multiple hours required to scout. In my opinion show on to weaker foot for opposition wingers is not effective, as the AI could just do a turn.

Most assistant managers in Fm26 usually set tight marking on almost all the opposition forwards and midfielders.

In my recent Mancity Save, my highline got exposed by a ball over the top by Real madrid,
Before the match, my plan was to trigger press Madrid's keeper and tight mark their defensive midfielder, the plan backfired. As I conceded 2 early goals.

However, every season, without fail my Youth Intake is terrible, the worst rated it could possible be. I have achieved almost everything I want to in this save, and i'd like to start getting some good youngsters to bring into the team as an added challenge, but they're always terrible.

Just seems dodgy, sorry, not touching any of it.
Desperate to get FM2024 updated with a good full database as I'm not touching FM2026 but not taking a risk on this rubbish.
