Regens, like any other youth players, wont reach their potential unless they get good tuition from your more experienced players and get to play a lot of first team football.
If you buy too many regens, you'll pay big money for their potential talent, but if you dont play them its a massive waste. You should cut down a little or you'll just be making a loss on them.
