# stam : The Genie Scout folder doesn't have to be placed in the FM10 directory, it can be placed anywhere really.
If the Flash workaround didn't do you any good, make sure that you run the program after extracting the .zip archive anywhere.
You can also try:
- Run Windows Update and update Java
- Run the application as administrator
- Check if Windows Firewall is blocking the application from running
Other than that, I'm out of ideas, sorry.
None of these things have worked. Is there a staff member or something that I can contact for further support or something?
OR, is there a previous version of this program that has worked without this stupid Adobe Flash glitch? I'm wondering if I was to download a previous version, would it work? I'm not even running patch 10.3, haha, I'm still on 10.0, so it's fine, I would think, if it can work on my computer, haha!
