Start with Montpellier in France... best save I've had for a long time... to make it more complicated try something as signing only french players

Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus.

Start in lowest leagues in one of those countries.

One thing only .... The restriction is only for the first season ???

Being an underdog team is easy, just play counter attacking football with fast wingers on a large pitch! Go for a team outside the top 4-5, someone like Aston Villa, Newcastle, Hearts, Fc Utrecht etc. You get a respectable budget with a solid rep, also, i like the idea of Montpellier in France, seems fun!

I played like that with small teams like Hecules in spain in FM 2011. And i agree with you , Montpelier is intresting and exciting ...

I certainly am intrigued by Montpelier, but i'm in the middle of an epic challenge with a few mates so maybe in a few month
