right.
so i've been approached by argentina to take maradona's manager role.
i accepted and am now trying to replace the terrible staff with some good coaches.
so i fired the assistant manager first and tried to get my own asst. manager from leeds, but to my surprise he declined the offer.
just like every other coach or assistant manager. even those without a job declined.
i'm pretty much out of ideas.

does anybody have a suggestion?

Players who have just retired who are unemployed are likely to join. Do this by searching for staff and filtering it Age: at most 40 and look for people who were good as a footballer. I had Clarence Seedorf (ManU), Michael Bridges (Annan) and Juninho (Bristol City).

unfortunately not...
i've pretty much tried everything.
-coaches from my own team(leeds), my leeds-asst. mng
-unemployed staff
-argentinian staff(employed and unemployed)
-players who recently retired

seems to be a bug...

You could try and promote one of your better coaches to assistant manager.
I normally do that as they have to best knowledge about the team.

I always had the same problem but I found the solution, Just put up an advert in the Job center. There are always people willing to be your assistant, especially if it's Argentina. There should be at least one or two great coaches that want to be in your staff.
