problem

i decided to use genie scout last week for the first time and was all working fine. genie scout was in my start menu and for some reason i dragged the file from my start menu onto my desktop and now i can't run that specific file or delete it i've tried everything it doesn't cause any problem but i don't want an icon on my desktop that i can't use or DELETE. it says access is denied bla bla bla

help needed please

Click continue..if you're not Admin then you can't delete it.

That means you aren't an Admin..Is it a family computer?

Turn off User Account Control in your settings.

log in with ur brothers account, and edit your account and give yourself privileges as an admin.

have u tried running in safe mode and deleting it hit f8 during start up and select safe mode

have u restarted your comp after deleting it sometimes it stays till after a restart

also u could try right clicking your desktop and refreshing it might go jut a thought

hope u get it sorted
