Differences between the public version and the 'g' version
The 'g' version has no advertisements and a few extra features.
What are those few extra features about?
1. A statistically based model that will show the probability of reaching theoretical maximum of players ability
2. Progress Rate - shows the predicted speed of player's development, depending on his ambition, determination, professionalism etc
3. Support for facepacks - if you have custom facepack added to your FM, it should show on player profiles on GS
4. Top players lists, as you can see on the screenshot here:
Where to find my Genie Scout Unique ID the donation form is asking me?
Since the public version of GS12 is not released yet, you should find your Unique ID in Genie Scout 11. If you don't have GS11, you may download it from our site of course.
Once you open GS11, click the big circular icon to the top left corner that should open the main menu.
Go to 'Help' and then find & click 'Donate' to the right column that slides next to it.
A popup window will come up, you need to copy the Unique ID as shown below:
I donated but I haven't received my 'g' version yet! Why???
The process is not automated.
Eugene is handling this alone. So when he is at home and not sleeping, he will see your donation and he will email you the 'g' version along with a key.
But please remember he is a married man with a little daughter and a regular job, so in business days he will be at work usually until 6 PM.
Ops! I think I donated to fmscout.com instead of Eugene. Now what?
Please make sure you donate to Eugene using the donation box on Genie Scout Homepage.
If you donate to fmscout.com instead by mistake, I will email you and refund your money once you confirm it was a mistake.
Can I use the key file to another computer?
No, Unique ID is actually unique per computer. So you'd have to ask Eugene to provide you with more keys, given that you send him all your Unique IDs.
