XML Parsing Errors in Football Manager:

You need a newer XML Parser version

So when you were suffering from XML errors we advise downloading a newer version of XML Parser from Microsoft, Download and install MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2.

If that doesn't help, please follow the steps outlined below:

Delete your FM12 Settings folder

First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.

XP:
My Computer
'Tools'
'Folder Options'.
The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
My Computer
'Organize'
'Folder and Search Options'.
Then go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Then delete the following folder:

XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\Settings

Vista/Win7:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\Settings

Mac - XML Parsing Errors:

Please follow the instructions below to solve the XML Parsing Error:

*Please note that on Mac OS X Lion the Macintosh HD is hidden: Open a Finder window then at the top click on 'Go' then 'Go to folder' which should be second from bottom. Finally, type in '~/Library'.
