The Structure
You will have seen this before, but we may need to run over it again. The structure will run in the same way as the UEFA Champions League, but with one fixture against each team in the group stages rather than two. Because of this, the member with the most forum thanks will get the home advantage. If equal, the member with the most forum posts will take the home advantage.
Group Stages
- Each team would play each other once.
- Every match is just 90 minutes.
- Win = 3 points. Draw = 1 point. Defeat = 0 points.
- Points decide the groups, then goal difference, then goals scored, then result between teams.
Knockout Stages
- Two legs, one home and one away fixture.
- An aggregate result will decide the winner.
- Away goals will be used if needed.
- Extra time and penalties will be used if still needed.
The Final
- One fixture to decide the winner.
- The game played at a neutral ground, decided by myself.
- Extra time and penalties if needed.

The Games
You will play one game a week. I will release the fixtures every Sunday night, and you have until the following Sunday to play the game. You will need to talk to the other member to find out when you are playing. Then, you will set up a network game. You just play once, and then the HOME team will take screenshots. They will need to screenshot the overview of the match, and player stats. If they can’t, it is down to the away team, and if they can’t, message me. I may ask to record your game if a big one and I have the time, but details will come later if that will happen.
Due to the rules and the way this cup will be played, we can’t just have one network game going, so I will keep all the data and records of the matches, and work out the tables etc. This way, matches can be played easily, and much more information can be included, with a better format. This video should help show you how to set up a game if you don’t know, but if it doesn’t help, message me!
