This is where your scouts come in; the men and women dedicated to sniffing out talent from across the globe.

The size of your scouting system will depend upon the size of your club, and it s not just players these men can find. You can only be in one place at one time, but when you re not around your scouts can act as your eyes and ears.

Whether it be scouting your opposition, monitoring a certain league or simply heading off to some unknown region in search of the next footballing genius, your scouts are there to help.

Assignments
The main area of the screen is called Scouts is where you can move through each of the scouts at your club, click on the black icon to select each scout or click on Reports to view any scouting players that your scout has discovered whilst on his travel.

Click on the scout's name to view their profile, or right-click to bring up all the interaction options available to you. To the right of this menu you ll see a bar graph detailing the knowledge your selected scout has this is vital information to be considered when you re planning your network; after all there s little point sending a scout into a region he has no knowledge of, unless you simply want to improve his knowledge in that area.

The main section called Assignments is the one that lets you know what your scout is briefed to do. It tells you what the mission is, the status and the timescale for when the scout will be active in that mission. To add an assignment is simple, just click Add and then fill out the criteria you d like to set for the mission. This will involve identifying a region or nation you d like to assign the scout to, and a series of filters you can set up, to limit the type of player to look for.

Once this is all set your scout will head off in search of players meeting your criteria and will report back via the news section. The feedback will make certain points and recommendations, the scout will also make a comparison between the scouted player and your current squad player in the same position.

Reports
By clicking on the 'Reports' button , you see all the players your scout has discovered to date. On this report you'll see at what level the scout recommends the player, his current opinion on the player's ability, and his opinion on a player's potential ability.

To view a full scout report simply click on any of these areas which are represented by a number of stars. From here you may consider getting another scout to report on any potential signings before making a bid - but that's down to the faith you have in your scouts.

Knowledge
This section details the level of knowledge you and your team possess in different regions and nations.

The overview gives you a regional breakdown of knowledge, while the Nation section not only tells you the knowledge from country to country, but also lets you know where the source of this knowledge comes from. This could be you, a coach, scout or even an affiliated club. The greater knowledge you and your team have of an area, the more fruitful scouting missions will be.
